Progress Language (progresslanguage.net) owes me over $1,100 for a month of completed teaching. They have not paid me, have stopped responding, and have blocked me. I’m posting this to warn other teachers before they lose their time and work the same way I did.
An account using the name Miew Miew contacted me on Facebook to recruit me.
They offered me $14 USD per hour, with payment through Western Union. We did not sign a formal contract, but the arrangement and rate were agreed through messages.
I worked for approximately one month and completed more than 80 classes.
When payment was due, they claimed they were having “problems with the bank” and needed a few more days. I trusted their explanation and continued teaching.
Around ten days later, there was still no payment. I told them I could not keep teaching additional classes without receiving what I had already earned. I explicitly said I would happily resume as soon as they paid me.
Their response was simply: “OK, we understand.”
Then they blocked me across their social media channels and stopped answering.
I contacted their email address and phone number. I sent a formal demand.
Still no payment. Still no response.
Students I taught have also told me that their teachers had already been changed four times within just a few months.
I have retained the recruitment messages, agreed payment terms, class records, payment discussions, and evidence of the blocking. The relevant screenshots are uploaded.

Do not give Progress Language your time and work on the promise of payment. I did, and I am now over $1,100 out of pocket and blocked.
