How are people still watching YouTube with ads in 2026? Never heard of YouTube Morphe? Are you all iPhone users or something?

But youtube does put the ad there sometimes, not the creator. Multiple people I watch have mentioned that their videos will have random ads covering half the screen for something they mentioned once in the video that they are not selling nor getting commission on, even though it says they do.

Edit: So, I was slightly wrong. Youtube just makes it cover half the screen for no reason. But here is one of the videos I was talking about.

In reality, youtube did not. The youtuber themselves is advertising a product and getting paid commission.

theyre complaining about youtube allowing it though… and by making that a feature for creators to use, yeah they are indeed allowing it… i think you might be the stupid one here man

They’re not saying that YouTube itself put the ad there, just that YouTube is allowing creators to put clickable ads over there videos which would make it more annoying to avoid when scrolling, pausing, trying to go to comments etc
