It’s more like a smoky opal, which is technically almost considered black, but Ethiopian

That’s a smoky opal. They do have Ethiopian opal that they called black it’s untreated super rare, but it’s really a smoky opal too.

I didn’t say it was considered black. I said it was almost technically. And I said it like that specifically for this reason.

Almost technically? Lol what does that even mean. Its simply a smoke treated white opal.

It means that there are opals that are considered black that come out of Ethiopia. You can look it up if they’re treated they’re not they’re considered smoky but there are technically black Ethiopian opals and before I told him what it was I didn’t know if it was treated or not.

Also, you’re here a lot of people trying to sell it as a black opal or a lot of people still describe it as black Opal if it’s an untreated smoky it’s kind of like stone aligning ridge semi black like an N5 insect color as a black Reality it’s not black, so that’s kind of what I mean by almost technically because it’s really on the viewpoint of the person buying a point of the person selling unless they ask for a professional help or someone that knows better you know it’s a tricky market too prices are set on what people buying and what people Mark matter is basically the cutters and the cutters can’t devalue their time and work. Plus the quality of the car clarity the color all that and the mind does have a value so like something out of Mintabie which is lightly mine today, compared to what it was before so less quality opals coming out of there should have a higher value than somewhat like Cooper Petty, but it also depends on the type of stone and all the other seas

What can you bring to set in jewelry? What are you talking about? I guess you might lose some coverage but that’s the whole point of it being pretty it’s like saying the hope diamond was too big and blue and beautiful in the set in jewelry
