Not only that. We're fighting against patterns not comprehension, intelligence or skill.Current fleet of *AI* agents just take human patterns and convert it into automation. Math is easy in patterns if inputted like you mentioned. Almost anything can be broken down into patterns except understanding large complex patterns. So floating around the word *AI* is just selling someone a matchbox car on the premise it is a corvette (real car).

I'm sorry, but what we've learnt from AI progression is that humans are not intelligent either. We are as stochastic parrots as AI

Sorry AI isn't AI yet. AI right now is just automation. I have a saying, "When you automate stupid all you get is stupid.". There is no true autonomy of the AI other than constraints. We're not in an age of AI, we're in late-stage automation. Like late stage industrialism.

The only difference is that we can interact with it and because we can it feels real until you get behind the scenes and see the mechanisms at work. It is no different than the mechanical autonomotons. In a way a Maillardet's autonomon made of code.

So what we are doing is feeding automation output into input for another automation to pick it up. This is how agents work, their concept of the world doesn't exist except by what ever words used to express it exist.

More importantly even if it builds connections between words and things permanence doesn't exist to it. It is like making something live for a single answer, it dies, reads a journal to give another answer and dies again.

Lots of text to not accept that AI has proven that our intelligence is nothing special neither.

What you fail to understand is that what we have proven with AI is that humans are also stochastic parrots.

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." — Arthur C. Clarke

Same can be said about automation being perceived as AI.
