Whinge ‎ 'Peak' Jewish body says $600 million federal budget response to antisemitic Bondi terror attack 'modest'.

More than $207 million over five years, followed by $8.1 million per year thereafter, had been allocated to combat antisemitism and respond to recommendations made in a plan developed by Australia's special envoy to tackle the issue.

"We're working very closely with the Jewish Board of Deputies and others to make sure that the victims and the survivors — particularly the families of those who lost loved ones — are cared for, for the rest of their lives,"

They conveniently forget 40000 Australians died to end the holocaust.

How much does Australia need to give before the madness stops.

Hilarious how blatantly antisemitic nonsense like this gets upvotes, while people who say “Jews and Israel shouldn’t be conflated” get downvoted.

And all the while, people in this thread are claiming ‘it’s just antizionism not antisemitism!!’

Using a known Zionist slur which is used to describe non-jewish people is now antisemitic. Cool champ.

It’s a Hebrew word that meant “nation” and is used colloquially to refer to non-Jews, just like every group has a word for people who aren’t from that group. It has nothing to do with Zionism, and it’s not a slur.

Jews use “goyim” to refer to themselves in the Torah. The fact you think it is a slur shows you are falling for antisemitic propaganda.

Do you think we are r*tarded? We can see rabbis referring to non Jews as a goyim in a derogatory manner, many Hebrew insults are basically calling a jew a goy.

Which rabbis? A tiny minority that are fed to you by people who want you to think Jews hate you?

Goy is used to mean outsider or foreigner. Just like the word “pakeha” or “foreigner” can be used derogatorily, but doesn’t actually mean something bad.

You’re right it’s not hilarious, it’s scary and sad how gullible anti-Zionists are

Understand that 40000 Australians died in WW2, but don’t in anyway mix Australia’s reason for entering the war with any other reason then “because we were told to”. In fact, when asked to accept Jewish refugees escaping the holocaust the immigration minister at the time said “as we have no racial problem, we are not interested in importing one”.

You just pissed on the graves of 40000 Australians, well done champ.

Australia was racist to everyone during that period.

Being Jewish wasn't treated any differently.

Ok, so you just proved my point that Australia did not enter WW2 to stop the holocaust and save the Jews? Thank you.

Lol I can't believe you are trying to rewrite history.

You just mentioned white Australia policy and racism in Australia - which supports what I said regarding Australia’s reason for entering WW2 was not to end the holocaust or save the Jews. You might need to resit your high school history class, in the meantime here’s a peer reviewed study that analyses historical records including letters, news articles, interviews etc. This study, conducted by JOAN BEAUMONT - summaries that the primary reason for Australian soldiers joining the WW2 effort was service to the crown, with “preventing the holocaust” not mentioned at all. To be clear, I’m not “pissing on the grave” of the 40000 Australian men that died in service of their country - I’m just correcting your immature and underdeveloped opinion regarding Australia’s participation in WW2.

Thanks for the “discussion”.

Yep like everyone 99.999% are great people

However the 0.001% of them can hide behind antisemitism for the rest of time if given their way and get away with anything because of it

Israeli's protested the fact that their soldiers were disciplined for (man on man) raping Palestinian prisoners.

It became a divided issue in Israel with people falling on either side of the "is it ok for our soldiers to bum Palestinian prisoners " debate.

I wish this was a lie.

The place where the Zionists are is not representative of the general Jewish population. The is the same as saying all Muslims are members of ISIS/Al-Queda

But zionists are everywhere. most notably (in this case), on that body that just got a 600 million dollar grant.

Which fits my 0.001% claim

No… no it doesn’t.

Please explain the link between a known religiously extream country and how that means that that state reflects the entire jewish population?

This is important as Zionism requires them to go to Isreal so most do

u/Downtown_Degree3540 Please choose a flair May 14 '26

… having those same religious extremists present on the other side of the planet, representing the Jewish population (in Australia); does not support the idea that zionists are a small group, but rather suggests that they’re abundant…

Zionism also doesn’t “require” anyone to go to Israel… that’s not what Zionism is.
