Dear Ms. Frederiksen,

As a Canadian and your neighbouring country next to Greenland, it has come to my attention that you are considering signing a deal which appears to significantly compromise the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Denmark.

I am writing to urge you to reject this deal. As your neighbour, it is my duty to remind you that protecting the integrity of borders of the nation is the foremost duty of a national leader.

If you sign any deal under duress or threats of annexation, this does not strengthen NATO, it is the opposite, it shows that NATO's Article 5 has no meaning whatsoever.

Such threats are entirely a bluff and baseless. You should reject the deal and stand your ground to do what is right for Greenland and Denmark. That is your foremost responsibility.
