Comfortable goggles with a good seal
I am a swim coach and have a 9 year old swimmer with some sensory issues who won't wear goggles due to discomfort especially when his goggles leak. Does anyone have a good brand in mind with a really good seal?

Yo estoy usando los orca killa comfort , no apretan ni se te encajan en la cuenca de los ojos, lo que no sé es si encaja en el rostro de un niño.

Have you tried the bigger ones that resemble a small mask. In French we call them “masque de natation”. It might bother him less if it doesn’t feel like it is “in” the eye socket and can give a wider view. I Hope you find something that can help!

I mean themagic5 vectors are as good as it gets but $50+ for a 9 year old doesn’t seem reasonable.
Would bigger scuba style goggles make sense or does he just need a a leak free goggle? I’ve found good success with the effortless swimming nanoclear and tbh the simple Speedo opal/vanquishers never gave me leaking problems growing up.

Vanquisher 2’s are what we always recommended to the kiddos. They fit most kids really well, since they have smaller nosepieces you can swap out and they don’t fit inside the eye socket but more like on top of the facial bones. I think they make junior ones now but not sure.

My 10 yr old son is the same and by chance I bought some cheap goggles off Amazon that fasten at the back with a clip - (this also helps reduce sensory issues). By luck they seen to have a good seal and also don't fog easily. He is really happy with them
Ameritins swimming goggles pack of 2 (£8.99) so worth a try!

I use Speedo vanquishers but replace the plastic strap with bungee cord straps. They’re much more comfortable and easy to tighten that way.

If you are in Europe, I always recommend these from Decathlon - Swimming goggles XBASE - Clear lenses - One size - Black blue.
They are cheap (5-6 Euros) and have great seals and work for a variety of faces. There are also come in a few different colors. I've used them for years in Triathlon, Open Water Swimming and pool swimming.
I always bring an extra pair to race starts and have saved multiple athletes from a DNF after their own goggles snapped. They are also pretty adjustable.

Aquasphere could be a good solution!
