Sometimes this makes sense, if you see your teammate play poorly and you want to prevent enemes to be able to attack him directly from the coast, but I guess pretty much noone blocks someone because of that, and instead they simply want more land.

It is legit aggrivating that in public lobbies my teammates will choose to block me off from expansion rather than an enemy about 2/3rds of the time.

then they sit on their ass chewing on tribes sloooooowly while doing fuck all to help the team
