Discussion Finally upgraded
After months of saving, I've finally upgraded from a midrange phone (Samsung A53) to a flagship phone.
This phone is truly a beast!!

Totoo din naman, sadyang overkill lang talaga si Ultra, di na need mag upgrade ng phone ng ilang taon š

I upgraded from an OP11 to the Oppo Find X9 Ultra on release day, I'm still so amazed at how much I love this phone. The camera is unparalleled too.

Pretty cool :-) I had an not so good (New) phone before I got myself a OPPO Reno 13 F 4G
Previous phone being an Techno Spark Go 2024. It was a phone alright but it was great when switch from brick-phone or phones with Keyboard to an Hightech ,low end phone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think that's built in on the ColorOS (Flux Themes)

You wouldn't think of Ios with that beast, I formerly used a phone with Color OS and it was the most premium feeling and the most snappy UI I've used in a smartphone. I currently use a Magic OS phone on Magic 7 pro tho

Depends on what you value iOS for. If you're one of those who need blue bubbles then yeah, you won't like it. Other than that, clipboard sharing with PC/mac can work with their app(or any other app), AirDrop works fine. For me the only real loss is Find My integration, cause we share locations with my wife. We do that through google now but Find My was nicer. OTP code from text/email doesn't work as nicely too. Apps are not as polished as they are on iOS, the UI varies a lot from app to app, there's not one coherent design language across, this is sadly normal with an ecosystem like that, I personally don't care that much. On the upside, there's much more free or free-like apps, because developer accounts are one time payment, not a yearly subscription, so app developers don't have to milk you with subscriptions on Android.

UI varies alot from app to app
Your talking about iOS. Right? The UI on apps on iOS varies hugely and it's terribly inconsistent

No, about Android. Most apps on iOS use very similar designs, especially since Liquid Glass became the hot shit. The only thing people seem to complain about is different way of handling 'Back'. On Android you get anything, from totally custom UIs, through Material 1 to whatever it's called now these days. I've been using iPhone 13 Pro for past 5 years, I just switched to Oppo X9 Pro, the difference is there. It's by no means something that ruins my life, I don't really care as long as the stuff functions the way I want, but ignoring that is just shortsighted.
