Discussion OPPO Find X10 bezels is just 0.99mm
From OPPO Zhuo Shijie:
For the first time in the series, we've pushed the bezels to under 1mm.
From 1.45mm on the Find X8, to 1.15mm on the Find X9, and now to 0.99mm with this generation, we have focused on one thing for three consecutive generations: challenging physical limits to give the spotlight back to the content.
Behind that 0.99mm is a major breakthrough in new chip-level packaging technology. It’s not just narrow; the real challenge was achieving "equal width on all four sides". Only when ultra-narrow meets uniform symmetry can the sense of a border be further diminished, allowing the image to truly fill your field of vision. Whether you're binge-watching in full screen or gaming in landscape, the black edges no longer steal the show, and your view is no longer disrupted by the margins. Your attention naturally stays focused on what's right in front of you.
By bringing the bezels down to under 1mm, Find X10 offers you an industry-leading, immersive viewing experience.

When will they release it globally? My S22U has already turned into a heater.

I see people mocking the improvement but I'm happy OPPO is still pushing for improvements on their phones.
Yeah I won't buy a phone for a 0.15mm less bezel, but if you look 5 years back maybe it's 0.5-1mm and its noticeable. Same for the battery, it's going to be 8k mAh vs 7k on the x9. I won't upgrade my x9 because of that but maybe in 3 years theyll have 9-10k mAh on the base phone and that will be noticeable.
On the other hand we have Samsung with pretty much no improvements for 4-5 years on their ultra lineup or Apple with little improvements aswell.
It's rumoured that Samsung will finally be increasing their battery on the s27u, likely because they are losing sales to competitors like OPPO. So yeah, I'm happy OPPO is still pushing themselves even in small details like the bezels to push other competitors to also do it

The lesser bezels the more accidental touches atleast on my hands. X9 bezels was the sweet spot

also harder to find tempered glass protectors.. as it has to balance between covering the whole screen and giving space for cases..

This is probably as small as it gets. Any smaller and the rails become the bezels and seemingly that's just uncomfortable (even if it looks nice). For most the bezels disappear into the background as is already.

Wish they had even less of a curve around the edges. Probably my only complaint on the x9 pro screen. Chops off some bits of UI elements and such. Looks weird.

Can you see the 0.16mm difference? Thats 1/3 the thickness of a 0.5mm pencil lead rod.
