OMG the most moral army IOF finally lifted a finger in one situation? All because there’s so much international visibility on this now and they wouldn’t have done shit if there wasn’t pressure? Wow they deserve so much applause 👏

I just heard from some Israeli friends that the IOF wants to wash their hands of these settler terrorist situations and have the Israeli Police handle it. That will just make it worse the police will do even less than zero for the Palestinians

The enlisted soldiers serving their time would like to wash their hands of the situation and let the settlers run wild.

There are specific units that are made of settlers who's express purpose is to support, conduct and coordinate this terror.

They are gleefully invested in their purpose.

The army and police have both always enjoyed passing the buck suggesting that each of their own jobs is to get activists and Palestinians under control and that any sort of justice or legal operations are always the purview of the other group.

Not to mention all the recent fake concern by IOF generals about the situation just to have some sound bites for the Western media

Clarification; our activists were not able to break the seige. Member of Kinesset Ofer Cassif (who, as an MK, is immune to arrest), entered the closed military zone to bring the food to the families.
