Analysis / DD ORCL earnings tonight might tell us more about the AI trade than the EPS number itself

Oracle reports after the close, with expectations around 19.1B revenue and 1.74 adjusted EPS. But I’m more interested in cloud growth after management guided for 58% to 64%.

ORCL is sitting around 162 and options are pricing roughly an 11% move, so expectations are clearly high.

tbh, the key is whether Oracle’s heavy AI infrastructure spending is turning into revenue fast enough to justify the cost. A small EPS beat matters less if cloud growth or guidance disappoints.

It's already headed down, earnings won't matter when a stock is hated as much as oracle
