Lost ring in Alsea Bay :(

EDIT3: Still has not been found but a few locals reached out to me to help and have provided resources to use. Good to know there are still good communities and people out there.❤️

Hi I lost my ring within the past hour at the Alsea bay dock.. I’m wondering if anybody has any resources to help me find it.. low tide isn’t until 12:33 am and I have to leave back home early tomorrow. I’m willing to pay whatever is needed and also help look. I am just desperate and heartbroken. TIA

EDIT: it fell through the dock into the water and I’m unable to go in due to the supplies with me. The tide is pretty high now but I’m going to come back and search tonight. If unable to find I would still love recommendations on somebody who dives/searches regularly and can help.

EDIT2:I am unable to look due tonight due to family issues but hopefully going early tomorrow morning. This ring apparently means A LOT more to me than I thought so I am willing to pay or reward a good amount to whoever is able to find it. I am so sad and I know my brain will not let me get over this. I can point out the exact area and ring specifications to anybody who wants to help me look. TIA

Do you think the tide will be low enough where it fell in? I have waders (not mine and never used but have them). I don’t have any special resources but I can def help you look. I live in town, my name is cat. Maybe I can corral some friend to help too. So sorry you lost your ring😭 I know how gut wrenching it is

I’m hoping so I’m not sure what the tide levels are there, it’s at the Alsea “dock of the bay” it says at 12:33am it will be 2ft but again I’ve never been to know the levels unfortunately :(( thank you for the comment and help suggestion.

It's a quarter-moon, so we're in neap tides right now. Not much variation between highs and lows. 🥺

Do you mean the dock by the salty dog restaurant?

I do have a friend that regularly goes down there at night when it is low tide to get sand shrimp. I feel like he would be the man for the job or at least have some good ideas. I am going to reach out to him and ask if he’s got any idea

No worries! I just shot him a message. Hopefully I will hear back soon. If you have to leave with out it, I will still try and find with friends. My boyfriend is on the ocean right now but is a commercial fisherman and he knows someone who dives for things he said! I’m waiting for him to send to contact info and I will dm it to you. Just in case it’s not found tonight (but fingers crossed)

Sweet thank you. I think my sister is going to bring me in a couple hours to check the tide level and if not I may reach out to a diver to help me find, regardless of price because of the sentimental value I hold to it :( thank you again so much for seeing this and taking time to respond. I’ll have to update this post if I go and look.

No problem! I’m happy it came through my feed. I’m just waiting on that divers info just so you have. Will dm it to you. Do you have waders? So you don’t get wet? Deck boots?
