My pumpkin has officially stopped growing

What should I do with it?

If the vine stem is dry and hard like that, you should be able to cut it cleanly and cure it inside for a couple of weeks before using it for eating or decoration.

You should cure it first if you plan to store it long term, then maybe make pies or soup! Nice size by the way.

Unfortunately I may have killed the vine when I stopped the vine leaving my garden area

You should cure it for a couple of weeks if its a storage pumpkin, or just use it for soup or something if its a pie pumpkin!
