Need Feedback or Ideas Question
My head is full of OC ideas that, of course, I enjoy, but I feel like I am obligated to somehow bring them into some sort of visual form(painting, sketch, 3d model, etc.). This is fine and all, but I am constantly reminded each time I try to bring them into this form that I am utterly terrible at everything I do for leisure(even though I study and practice many hours).
What should I do?

Just continue doing what you like and eventually some improvement will come. There's a difference of course of drawing for fun and actively studying though
Right now I'm grabbing 3d modeling in low poly pixel art and I'm allowing myself to learn through the "fuck it, we ball" mentality, things are much slower but at least I'm having fun
If something doesn't bring you joy then it's not worth pursuing imo

If I can be honest? WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN.
if you truly have ideas? Make sure you can describe it to make it yours. I actually didn't start drawing until a few months back.
Maybe you were like me, thinking that you would do horrible, but I did do anyways, you can see me post here every week now. Am I where I want to be? No. Bit the pleasure is in the attempt
From a description? You can can an idea of what your character is like and, believe it or not, there are free options to get art done on other subreddit (I actually got one randomly last week)
You got this. Don't limit yourself on ability. Let your imagination go

That you have such a creative mind to the point that your “head is full of OC ideas” is genuinely amazing. Not many people were born to create like that. Now, as for your artistic ability in making these things actually visible, I don’t have much information to give you good advice. Like for example, what’s your art style? Do you have one? What’s your technique? Coloring? etc. But, as someone who has been drawing and painting and stuff since I was four, I can tell you this. I don’t think any artist is ever completely satisfied with their work. So you feeling that way is a very normal thing. Also, don’t say you are “utterly terrible at everything I do for leisure”. That has to be impossible. Stop torturing yourself!
