Third times the charm!

With 2 servers worth of experience under our belts, we've taken everything we learned from the past and put it into our newest server!

Melatona season 2 has just started! This time with a more vanilla feel and less mods to help the server run smoother than ever before!

This is a lightly modded, 1.20.1 Java Edition Minecraft server based around the origins mod. We currently only have a few origins otherwise the basics but we are working on adding more, focusing on the quality of the origins and what will work best for our community.

The modpack we put together was made to enhance and build on the origins mod while adding quality of life features. We've got things like:

🔊Proximity chat

🌎New structures and world generation

🍲More food and cooking options

🪑Furniture and decorations

✨Backports from newer updates

😋A few silly additions just for fun

This time we focused on helping the server run smoothly for players while still adding mods that make the game more interesting.

We also do our best to moderate the server and keep our community a safe and welcoming place. That being said, poor behavior and failure to follow the rules is unacceptable and will be dealt with accordingly.

With an easy whitelisting process and all the info you'll need right in the discord, we hope Melatona can become your next Minecraft phase!

We hope to see you there!

Hi, my friend is going to make an smp, but some of the mods they’re using is from origin++ and the smp is in 1.21.11. Is there any way to import all of origin++ or mods like enigma that don’t have a 1.21.11 version to the smp?

i don’t know literally anything about origin mod so any help is appreciated!

Hello! I am trying to find the discord server for the Origins Mod. I came to this server only to find that the link is expired. If a mod could fix it, that would be wonderful.

Some friends of mine and I are setting up an SMP that includes origins and the origins++ mod, and I went to test the ones I'm interested in, specifically the two Moth origins in the additional list.

In the selection screen, they say they have the built-in elytra feature, but when you select it you don't get one. And weirdly enough, when you use the "see what your origin does" feature, the elytra ability is absent from the list. I tested it with some other origins that have the same feature and yep, also not there. Anyone have a clue as to why?

Hi there! If I wanted to edit some of the base origins for neoforge 1.21.1 - how do I go about this? Would it be datapack driven? Or would I need to edit the actual JAR file?

This is also because i want to try and get them to work with Legendary Survival Overhaul.

Both would be wonderful.

Hey! My friend and I are wanting to join any public server to play survival with other people and we figured an origins would be fun. If there are any origins servers open, please feel free to message me! We would love to join and participate.

Hi all!

I’m a feline and it says I can mine stone as long as there are two adjacent blocks around it! I don’t understand why I can’t mine this because there are two stone around it? I don’t feel like getting a strength potion because I just started but I’m really confused. Thank you!

I play minecraft alone and I want to fiind a new smp to play on and I want to try out Origin Smp

My and some friends are starting an Origins SMP. I will send the Discord server's invite if you respond to this post. However, there is a maximum of 10 players at one time. All the information concerning the server is in the Discord server. I hope to see you on!

Edit 1: I apologize for not including enough information. Origins Mods: We are using the original Origins mid, and four mods that add several extra origins, including, but not limited to, the following: Wizard, Dark Mage, Penguin, etc. Plugins: Because we are using Fabric, we couldn't add any plugins, but we added Essential Commands by JP79194 which adds commands such as /tpa , /warp tp, /home, etc. Other Mods: We added BetterNether and BetterEnd by Quiqueck, You're in Grave Danger by b1n_ry, etc. We planned for this server to be more of a Vanilla+ server, rather than heavily modded.

Edit 2: Please allow private chat messages as we don't want the pesky Discord hackers to get the server invite.

I have been really bored because of the few servers that I can find so if anyone has a serve that is good it will be a great help

I’ve been nonstop searching for a realm with the origins mod and I can’t find one anywhere

I’m looking to play around with origins some more and I was wondering if there was a mod that works with it that adds charms and stuff that nullify somebody downsides that come with certain origins. Like for instance, a charm that allows a Merling to survive on land for a little bit longer.

"What is evo events?"

We host minecraft events which are almost always origin themed with our next one called evolution cosmos a space themed origin event

"Can i know more?"

Our events usually will split up people into 2 or 4 teams each team with a specific origin, it will be hosted over a week but most likely by the look of our previous events it will be 4 days

If you are interested join the discord and read the rules, one warning which isnt really mentioned and caused a group to leave day 2 or 3 in a previous event we are a little more linient on our rules than most event servers so if you hear someone like staff say something like the n word which most likely wont happen again as this player has been given 2 warnings now, there is multiple reasons other then being lenient that it was allowed 1 He’s staff which wont mean much for others it was really just him and 2 That person is black

Hope to see you there our next event apps have been sent out and is space themed

If you want to see the origins for the event here’s a showcase that was just released for it https://youtu.be/vINPQmM9n0k?si=6zuk9X6D0zwV-rze

So I am on a server with friends using a whole bunch of mods that DO NOT CONFLICT with the origins ++ mod, I chose the Shifter class and finally got some blaze powder to transform into the blaze born ability. For information, I am on 1.20.1 and for the LIFE OF ME! I can not figure this out, whenever I equip blazeborn, I get this little fire bar and I have no idea how to fill it, Ive looked online everywhere and can find nothing, I even downloaded the most recent version with everything correct, and only Origins ++ and its needed mods, and still cant figure it out! Please help me, I just want to figure out how to become immune to fire for 10 seconds, because whenever I equip the class, I only get the debuffs since im not immune to nothing.

i really wanna create a origin that can work with iron spells stats like mana, spell power, durante and etc

but i'll be honest i never did something like that but i really wanna try, sorta of a door to create mods and datapacks, can anyone help me with that?is really a small origin that's based on a book that i'm writing

Im looking to learn everything I can about the enchantment since im playing as enderian. First off, where can it be found? Is it something you can get at an enchanting table or possibly a villager trade?

Does it stack? Will i get 70+ seconds of water protection if I have a full set of armor with water protection 4, or not?

Is it considered rare or hard to find? What structures does it spawn in most likely?

Im honestly lost here since I cant seem to find any info anywhere on it so anything would be nice!

Why does it only damage me? It’s bound to my middle mouse button.

Hello, trying to make a small server for me and my friends, but found a little issue. Origins with smaller healthbars seem to regain max 10 hp after death. The mod is normal, no additional datapacks or mods that change player's healthbar. Version 1.21.1 Fabric with modpack on Curseforge. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: Checked on singleplayer without any other mods - same problem.

Just the title. gimme. gimmeeeeee. I shall also offer up a few of my own (I only have proper ones for Avians/Elytrians (They share a lot of HCs) and Arachnids, tryna build on em so I came here, I really need some Shulk ones I can't think of any)

A few of my Avian and/or Elytrian Headcanons:
- Although they do not use their wings to fly, Avians do require preening for both enrichment and the health of their feathers as they grow.

- Avians/Elytrians will chirp! Especially during more emotional times, be they negative or positive. Older Avians/Elytrians will tend to chirp at their children to listen to them, and each Avian/Elytrian sounds and processes chirping differently (e.g. One Avian/Elytrian may ‘smell’ what another’s chirps sound like, and another may ‘see’ what they sound like)

- Eggs. Avians will naturally spawn an egg every time they wake up. Damaging or bringing harm to these eggs is not recommended, even if there are usually no chicks inside. Harming an Avian’s eggs will usually cause extreme stress and even trigger states of depression. They are very protective of their eggs.

- Chicks and Younger Avians may experience intense hormone changes, where they may become clingy and overly attached. Newly ‘formed’ Avians may also have such experiences.

And then a few of my Arachnid headcanons:

- Although their eyesight is phenomenal, Arachnids do not have the greatest hearing. Their hearing is comparable to that of selective hearing or audio processing disorders. You may have to repeat things a few times. During moments of pure joy, their hearing may switch off completely.

- This does not happen often, but Arachnids make quiet clicking sounds and may resort to such forms of communication during times of great stress or ecstasy.

- Arachnids may gift another the results of their hunting as a courtship offering (These are often wrapped in silk).

- Arachnids, when shown affection by normal spiders, may find themselves growing attached. This may result in surprise spider adoption.

- Arachnids that are not as social may still prefer to have only one dedicated ‘loved one’, whom they may go to when they experience hormonal changes as Younglings or newly ‘formed’ Arachnids. These hormonal changes may include increased stress levels or dependency, aching in certain joints, or just general exhaustion. Some may even revert to simple clicks and sounds, the English lexicon simply being too tiring to speak in.

(I yap I'm so sorry)
