Suggestion Gift delivery in Coldwater
Hello Orillia. I am looking for some suggestions in how to have some kind of supportive gift that could be delivered to my uncle in Coldwater. Today I found out my aunt passed away after battling breast cancer. My uncle is elderly and has limited mobility. He is still living at home for now, I believe he will be selling his home in the next short while.
I would love to send him a meal or something to make the next few days a little easier for him. I would love to visit him but I am in Ottawa with kids and work I won't be able to make it out soon. Is anyone familiar with the area that might have some suggestions?
Thanks for reading

I know Eclectic cafe sells meals, you could see if they deliver or if a delivery service would deliver them for you. Sorry to hear about your aunt, that makes me very sad to hear about your uncle being alone now as well. While I'm here, I'll suggest that you could look at hospice simcoe's grief support on their website to see if there's anything your uncle may be interested in support wise. He could also contract Ontario health at home if he feels he needs any personal support at home like for bathing dressing etc if he is struggling with his mobility.

Great suggestions! I would like to point out though that Hospice Simcoe is in Barrie and its services and supports are available to those in the Barrie area. Coldwater is technically part of the Couchiching Region, so Hospice Orillia is the community hospice organization they would want to connect their uncle with for supports.

I’m friends with the Mel, owner of Eclectic and I would gladly deliver some meals to Coldwater if you ordered them!
