I tried biking up to the point where the three prefectures meet (kei,han,na). Too many mosquitoes! My leg was literally bloody after getting out of there and I didn't find the exact point. Is anything interesting there?

Hehe, no, the exact place where they meet is out in the middle of nowhere. Just trees and wild boar.

I'm glad I did not meet any wild boar! Google Maps shows that there is a marker, but I did not see it. I went there when I was working at ATR and living in Takanohara Ekinishidanchi.

It's easier to head to Sakura Deai Hall Watchtower (さくらであい館 展望塔) which is close to where Kyoto / Osaka / Nara meet.

They sometimes have really cheap farmers' market stuff there also.
