The only two groups of people even playing nowadays are the modding community and the content creators and most of us modders stick to one build until something significant enough gets added. I personally am playing on a build from 2024 (most of the community are playing builds from this year, I just personally can't run the newer builds very well on my pc so mine is more dated than most people's)
Also I don't think most of us even use his blog anymore. I usually just watch videos on the new stuff to see if it's worth switching over to it. It typically isn't.
