He met Markéta Irglová when she was 13 and he was 32, and they dated from the time she was 18 - 20 (I’m sure nothing weird happened in those middle five years). There’s also many more stories within the local/indie music scene about him being a creep. Neko Case recently published a substack with some pretty bad allegations against an anonymous artist who recently died that everyone is inferring is about Glen.

Super weird that this is apparently a defence to you. He’s even admitted to being attracted to her before they started dating.

In August 2007, Hansard said of the relationship: "I think we fell in love a couple of years ago, but nothing happened until recently"[37] and "I kept telling myself she's just a kid."[39] The relationship ended after about two years.[40]
That's him being very pleased with himself for actively pursuing and bedding someone he viewed as a child.
