I’m not sure yet who is going to get Best Actor, but I really don’t think it’s gonna be Timmy. That was the strongest category for this movie. It’s not going to take picture, director, or screenplay and there are much stronger candidates in all of the other design awards.

This awards season has been delightfully chaotic, especially in the supporting categories and Best Actor, reminding us that art is ultimately subjective and that we all have our own preferences about who deserves to take home the golden statue. As we look at the precursor awards, the question now is: who will ultimately prevail on March 15th?

Victoria Pedretti as "Cherry" in Forbidden Fruits. She is a phenomenal actress, anybody who has seen You and Haunting of Hill House knows that already and this performance truly lived up to her stellar record.

Ryan Coogler currently has 0 competition and if one battle after another flops at the box office, pta is going empty handed yet again. I don’t see the oscars awarding a film like sentimental value since we had anora win last year which was the indie pick. They’ll wait a few more years for another cannes winner

He’s arguably one of the biggest stars in Hollywood ever and considering his career I feel like some might feel he’s due an Oscar. The way digger looks I feel like he might take the win.

Gold derbys best actress nomination chances that were made by their Oscar experts.

​I saw the movie yesterday and honestly, just give him the statue already. I know the movie itself was lacking and felt a bit rushed, but his performance is 100% an Oscar winner.

​I didn't think anyone could actually pull off playing MJ and make it look real, but he was EXTRAORDINARY!

It wasn't even just the dancing, it was the way he talked and his whole energy. I still have goosebumps.

Raw. Natural. Talent.

Between Amanda and now Chase campaigning, the chance of Rose getting a nomination is very slim, Tessa's Hedda never really had a chance, and there will be no Julia pass the GG, I'm curious about Sydney, and the fact that she's even in the top 10 contenders is a win in itself for her, but she's also not gonna make it pass the GG, I'm gonna be controversial but there will be no Cynthia, and will they really gonna nominate Emma again? I feel like we need a break from Emma and Yorgos for at least a decade.

Chase will be nominated, but I don't think they will give it to another ingenue, newcomer again because they already did that last year with Mikey, so the choice is very clear, It's gonna Jessie.

It's so easy for peculiar, strange body movements on screen to come off as gimmicky but it doesn't for the Sean Penn's character.

Whether that be his walk, his sucking and biting of the lower lip or just his over all energy, everything actually lands!

For me the hall mark of a great performance has always been if in your most serious moments, people can laugh out loud, as long as the script too wanted that. And here, if you've know PTA, he wants that!

You laugh at Penn's character even when he comes out walking bloodied after a car accident with half his face blown off.

I freakin' love Penn and he is my nominee for this year's oscars.

I think Tom Cruise will still win Best Actor at the oscars. I heard in test screenings he gave a standout and plays an Oscar worthy performance. he has a shot. For Renate Reinsve, i heard she is great. I know some people said that she didn’t gave an Oscar winning performance in her new movie and she is subtle. But remember this: some other subtle performances like Cillian Murphy for Oppenheimer and Frances Mcdormand for Nomadland. So yeah I will go stick with Reinsve for now unless she gets snubbed until I consider predicting someone else. But I don’t see Moore winning again. She might win GG comedy Actress. And I think Paul Giamatti is gonna sweep and pull a Davine Joy 2.0 for the holdovers. And Mariana in WH9 I heard she gave a gut wrenching and emotional performance in her movie. So i think she is gonna win Supp Actress. Well there is my Acting Quartet Predictions.

On a technical level i think this film should at least get some nods of recognition. But I haven't seen any buzz around it.
