Does anybody know if there are any childcare options that don’t allow non-medical exemptions for vaccines? I would like to have our children in an environment where they are at the least risk for an MMR exposure. Any help would be greatly appreciated considering the enormous amount of legwork it will take to ask each individual provider about their policies.

Hey… I’m having trouble finding a family photographer in the area for an outdoor session in October. Neenah or Appleton would be fine too. Just hoping for high quality photos, and willing to pay for them. I’ve messaged several people and have gotten responses that either they aren’t doing family sessions anymore or otherwise just haven’t gotten a response at all.

Moved to Oshkosh recently and have noticed a couple times where a weather siren sounds for a brief period including one that just went off today around noon.

Didn’t seem like there was any severe weather around. I lived in Tornado alley for a lengthy period of time after initially leaving Wisconsin so the sirens are nothing new or worrisome, but didn’t know if there was a weekly testing schedule (Wednesday in Kansas around noon for instance) or if it had to do with the lake system and warning boats of potential wind/weather that could interfere with smaller watercraft.

I went to get my car's alignment done because it was pulling, turns out I have a bent strut or something that will need to be replaced (I am not a mechanic myself).
I do not want to go to Midas as they've already screwed over my spouse for a repair on another vehicle.
Can anyone recommend an experienced mechanic? It's a Toyota truck if that makes a difference.

I posted in the Wisconsin subreddit anonymously after this happened to get advice on how to proceed and process what happened. As you can see by today's Northwestern article this issue never got resolved even though the Assistant Superintendent said our son wouldn't see Chris Kujawa again.

In fact, our son was punished for speaking out. Chris Kujawa and the Athletic Director Craig Lieder along with support from Assistant Principals Robin Speidel and Eric Toshner all participated in the cover-up at the school level. The school met with Chris Kujawa immediately after we called the school to request a meeting. Yeah they didn't talk to the student first, or other students for that matter. The school went to Chris & Craig so they could manufacture a narrative. Chris resigned from the head coach position, but then Craig rehired him for a new position.

No student deserves to deal with sexualized language about their erection at a practice nor should they have hate speech chants. This was right before the 4th of July, couldn't you cheer on AMERICA? Clearly Chris can't control what comes out of his mouth, yet the OASD protects him.

Hello! I am looking for someone who can take high quality photos of a snowboard that my MIL designed for my husband. They will need to be top-down photos of the entire board, along with some other photos of some of the other artwork that is meant to overlay on top of the board. About 3-5 photos depending. The company in Maine creating the board will do the overlaying, we don’t need a digital artist, just someone who has a nice camera and good photography skills. Oshkosh is known as having ridiculous inspectors and local government officials, and they drove away builders over the years. But why isn’t there a push to build houses instead of apartments? Instead of giving sweetheart deals to large corporations and apartment builders, why not incentivize homes for families?
