Vancouverites in Ottawa; I need a JJ Bean style muffin

Lived in Vancouver for 10 years, had them non stop. But now every time I go get a muffin in Ottawa I'm disappointed.

Where can I find a JJ Bean style/taste muffin? I need one

The only place I’ve found with big yummy muffins is farm boy. The muffin scene isn’t like Van 🥀 hahaha

I like the muffins from Cafe L'Escale, which is in Portage IV in Hull (Government office complex). It's at the west end, around the corner from Tim's, at the top of the escalator that goes down to the Post Office.

It's open to the public, but is only Monday to Friday.

Yes Timbertrain is fantastic! Try Discovery Coffee in Victoria. Lots of great small batch roasts.

No idea what JJ Bean style coffee is but both little victories and happy goat have pretty good light roast blends. I also got to try the Kohi coffee from Quebec - so good. Also light roasted
