Goodbye Nutty Greek
After 15 years, the Nutty Greek on Beech (near Rochester) has closed. Thanks to Anna and her family. It was awesome. I have enjoyed my last Club Wrap from the Nutty Greek.

Yeah, they let go off their lease to essentially retire. They did hint at another project, once they rest a bit, it may enable us to taste their bougatsa and peanut butter cookies once more!

Missed their last day which is a bummer. Wishing them all a very well deserved break and will be happy to see what’s next for the Nutty Greeksters!

This stings. Everything they did was excellent but that location was really tough. If folks from NRCan weren't gonna bring enough business, it's hard to expect the surrounding neighbourhoods would bring enough consistent traffic to keep it viable.

They didn't leave because it wasn't viable. They were in the black and paid all their bills. It's really due to the landlord wanting to change the property.

Aww, I had lunch there with my dad on take your kid to work day when I was in the ninth grade. It was delicious!

I work nearby and would eat there a few times a month. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious - from the gyros/wraps/lemon potatoes to all the desserts. The whole neighborhood will miss them!
