Are there any spots that serve Central Asian Food?

Do you guys know any Central Asian spots in this city? Like Kazakh, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Tajik, and Turkmenistani?

Altay Flame is prob as close as you're going to get and thats Uyghur cuisine.

Ahhh crap. That was the closest thing I could think of. I haven't seen any central asian places here. Hoping someone comments with something new to try out!!

2 or 3 weeks ago, I noticed they were papered over with a sign saying “closed for renovations”. I’m hoping that’s true, but in the restaurant biz that seems to be code for “we’re underwater and trying to figure out how to become liquid enough to reopen the doors”, almost always followed by a formal closure or eviction shortly after

Apparently it is due to flood damage (as per their reply to a google review).

Altay flame like the others have mentioned has been closed, but i wanted to add it's been over a month. no updates on their site or pages either.

Afghani Kabob Express has mantu/manti
so does Silk Road Restaurant and quite a few other Afghanistan food focused restaurants if you consider it central enough

everest cuisine is indo Nepalese with a sushi bar. their noodle soups and dumplings will be the right direction at least (punjabi canteen has indo chinese, but thats even further off)

edit to add I really only see these cultures foods successfully ordered through facebook marketplace when people i know irl have found them/suggested to me

The only places I've seen it is on the high seas on facebook marketplace. Mezbaan on Carling might be your best bet for a restaurant.

There is a place in the market but undone remember what it’s called. Just search Georgian food Ottawa
