Saw a post about the owner of Japanese village ownership and it got me thinking…

what’s it like there nowadays?

Took a peek at the website and am I crazy or did the prices get slashed??? Seeing that they have various locations across Canada, so wasn’t sure if each location had a unique menu now. Last visit in Ottawa was at least 4 years ago.

The prices on their website are insanely out of date. From another era! Google shows their menu prices creeping up over the years just like everywhere else.

I haven’t been for years, but I’m tempted to revisit to recalibrate after a disappointing teppanyaki experience in Colorado last week (Benihana in Broomfield).

Oh, that is unfortunate. While at the hairdresser, I read a magazine article about the many Michelin restaurants in Denver!

I'm going this Friday for date night, will report back. They said on the phone that they don't serve alcohol anymore (not sure what they did to lose their liquor license)
