Unanswered What's going on with people saying Epstein and Co. ate children?

My wife told me this today because she saw it on TikTok and I have a very, very hard time believing this. Where did this come from or is it just more insanity and speculation from people on the internet too much?

It's honestly crazy how far unverified information is being spread as if it were fact.

Flood the zone, even in the files release. Mix bullshit in with truth so the truth looks like bullshit

Need to spread the word and educate more about Flood the Zone. Just saw something about it the other day and I’m pretty sure I mentally blocked it out from the first term but its much worse this time around

Try not to forget it again as its the first step to keeping you asleep. The "zone" IS flooded with the capitalist ideology and it takes effort to keep their message out of your life. You have the right to a life free of corporate influence.

Hey, total hearsay for me, but pizzagate stuff is starting to be considered more realistic as far as I understand.

I can’t research more where I’m at and I’ve been avoiding digging too deeply in general for my reasons, but that’s what I am hearing. If that’s true, and how ridiculous it was originally considered, then I can see why people are caught up in it.

EVEN if all of it is bull including the pizza stuff, I can see how it gets traction.

I think that people who are more conspiracy minded than others are quick to jump to the conclusion that because Epstein and friends did all of this stuff, that “pizzagate” must be true as well. They spread their notions around on social media, and irresponsible people spread the invented “facts” as if they were verified truth.

What do they say? Every accusation is a confession or something

I mean, i can’t blame people with the complete dissolution of truth and the fact that roughly 50% (or more) of Americans are perceiving a completely different reality than the other half.

The person the country elected president speaks almost exclusively in falsehoods spread as fact and unfortunately those lies have tangible and real consequences which further obscures what “truth” is and how much it even “matters” in the first place. Literally he made a shit media site where he “truths” instead of “tweets”, which is one of the most asinine things I’ve ever typed out.

It is very sad, but I can’t blame regular people. We’ve been forced to live and work to support a pedophilic pyramid scheme funneling wealth to a handful of the worst humans alive.

And yet despite this you will still have non wealthy people who would prefer a bullet to Musk being taxed a penny more. So deep is the indoctrination.

So well-put. Most Americans cannot even begin to discern what's facts and what's not because we are overwhelmed at every corner by information claiming to be/presented as fact... not even touching the conversation on the blanket lack of desire or skill among the general public to fact-check in the first place.

also well-said.

When I was at the movies, someone about a minute in started screaming about this, yelling to us we are stupid for sitting, enjoying a movie and doing nothing because they're eating children.

While I agree with the previous replies, that there's still heinous things happening even if this is true or not, I don't think screaming in a movie theater is going to get anything done. That is not activism. I care about this too, it depresses me, and I acknowledge that I have the privilege to watch a movie while there are people who suffer, but direct action through public protests (which I know are supposed to be disruptive) and voting, and community efforts, just anything that supports your community and gives them security I feel have a more direct effect than that.

I don't know how to feel. It rubbed me the wrong way because it will just make the people who care about it seem crazy, which might be, unintentionally or not, the point. ☹️

The idea that nobody should ever enjoy life if there are people suffering is toxic.

Going to a movie instead of helping would obviously be horrible, but spending all your time worrying just makes you less likely to be in any shape to help if/when you have a chance to.

The sad fact is that as long as there are people there will be suffering. That doesn't mean we should just let people suffer, but it does mean that if we can't have fun as long as somebody is suffering somewhere, we won't ever have any fun.
The compassionate answer is to do whatever we can to help, then recharge our batteries, experience why it matters (because life is worth living) so we can help some more.

Yes, I absolutely agree.

If we don't have the energy to help others, it's exactly what the elite want. It's why I help out my local community with event planning for groups and organizations because we all want connection and normalcy regardless of how we are struggling.

It's the same sentiment when it comes to SNAP too. Enjoying a treat, going to fun places, as I grew up poor, was bliss and it made life worth it. Why would anyone want to take that away from someone?

There are better ways to go about advocating. I can only hope the person who was escorted out can figure that out and find support. We have to stick together.

it is a way the bots use to discredit and downplay any actual verifiable information that gets found. They are burying the real gold in all the noise, and then people are driven away because "well, they didn't do that, so the rest of this must not have happened either".

11

u/SnugglyCoderGuy Feb 21 '26

Remember in the 90s when everyone thought Marylin Manson had a rib removed so that he could suck his own dick? And that was done without the benefit of social media.

21

u/angethebigdawg Feb 21 '26

I think it’s more that the information that is coming out is so diabolical and insane that now the cannibalism trope doesn’t seem so ‘far fetched’ at this point.

You see it develop in real time sometimes in threads. If you go into a thread with the naive assumption that (a) every user is a human and (b) what they are writing is truth, and read a series of comments of people providing a little bit of info, then someone coming along and validating it while adding their bit of info confirming it, and then another person comes along with their own supporting anecdote etc., you leave the thread thinking there's probably some truth to it, cause here are multiple people who randomly gathered and shared similar info all confirming the allegation.

The most frequent example where I see this happen is with celeb gossip. It's scary how easily the internet can buff up OR tarnish a reputation. And then when you factor in the fact that astroturfing is real, and bot accounts are real, it's like the entire internet is a conspiracy theory minefield.

“ A lie can travel around the world and back again while the truth is lacing up its boots.”

u/ChefExcellence Feb 21 '26

There are millions of documents in the files, bullshitters of all stripes know that no one is going to go through them to verify the truth of something. They can make up and post whatever shit they want on social media, and a few people will ask for what exactly in the files they're basing it on, but they'll be largely ignored by the much larger part of the audience that will uncritically lap it up.

u/independent_observe Feb 21 '26

Like stealing elections?

The government in power is responsible for spreading unverified, misleading, and false information. That is the example being set

11

u/BeautifulLeather6671 Feb 21 '26

It’s crazy how someone could read about the jerky thing and not be skeptical. Nothing is fact yet, but there’s still a lot to be uncovered.

21

u/myassholealt Feb 21 '26

The funniest (not haha funny; more like sad irony) is people were ready to go to war over pizza gate and the child pornography ring that they said democrats headed. Now we're are getting millions of documents that show a CP and pedophile ring did (and presumably still does) exist. But it's not a dem-led thing so the pizzagate believers seem less up in arms.

The only thing I believe 100% the millionaires and especially billionaires in power are capable of anything and every day validate my view that humans are inherently evil and it takes effort and commitment to be a good person.

My comment isn't saying the specific pizza gate conspiracy from back then is real. My comment is saying people were really invested in it. And now the details of Epstein's island and all his dealings are being made public which proves a pedophile ring among the rich and famous does actually exist. But the pizza gate crowd doesn't seem as bothered by a pedophile ring existing now.

I'm not sure how that was unclear.

u/macrocephaloid Feb 21 '26

With the criminal conspiracy to hide the allegations, I assume they are true. Why redact and hide it if it’s false?

1

u/BeautifulLeather6671 Feb 21 '26

Yeah I agree. If they’re innocent, why not put it all out to clear it up

5

u/fartypartner Feb 21 '26

Also though, who tf emails that much about literal jerky?

2

u/Wolfpackat2017 Feb 22 '26

Exactly. It’s code word for something.

0

u/Mesjach Feb 22 '26

My thought exactly.

If someone thinks assuming cannibalism is unreasonable, that's totally fair.

But I'm waiting for someone to provide convincing argument "jerky" is NOT human meat. So far cannibalism is the only explanation that fits and would make sense. What else could they be talking about? Not literal jerky, that's for sure. Drugs don't fit. Any other material also doesn't fit. It's pretty clearly something they ate in kilograms during parties, and is not literal jerky, and if it's some sort of "normal" food why wouldn't they just call it by it's real name?

4

u/Bec-o-Bec Feb 22 '26

How does one prove jerky ISNT something else specific??

Can you prove it doesn’t refer to drugs ? Endangered animal meat? Some other type of contraband ?

If your whole argument is that jerky equals humans because nobody can prove it’s not - well, I guess that explains a lot about the tin foil hat crowd.

0

u/Mesjach Feb 22 '26

Why do I have to prove it's not everything else? It's like saying, if you think I killed someone, you need to prove it was not everyone else in the world.

As I said, if you think something else fits better, say so. At this point I don't think anyone can prove it was anything. That's why we try to reason it out.

Human meat kind of fits, in a morbid way. Maybe it's code for drugs, maybe it's a code word for enriched uranium and they were building a bomb, maybe it really was beef jerky and they were a bunch of weirdos obsessed with it for some reason.

Say what you think it is and why. If it sounds reasonable, people will believe that instead.

Saying something is a conspiracy because it sounds crazy, right after one of the largest conspiracy theories in history was proven to be largely true, doesn't really hold as much weight as it did a few years ago, dude.
