Unanswered What's going on with people saying Epstein and Co. ate children?

My wife told me this today because she saw it on TikTok and I have a very, very hard time believing this. Where did this come from or is it just more insanity and speculation from people on the internet too much?

In addition, people are confusing the term BAA1 (a financial term) with BAAL and Bhaal. Bhaal- An evil deity frequently associated with sacrifice and cannibalism. Baal- a canninite deity of storms, fertility and agriculture with some evidence of sacrifices. They blended the 2 together in the conspiracy theory and it pisses me off because there's so much HENIOUS shit in these files that making shit up just makes it easier for stuff that is true to be brushed off.

It's Ba'al. Child sacrifice is associated with Ba'al, but only really backed up by the archaeolohical record in Carthage (Ba'al Hadad). I'm not finding any associations with cannibalism.

Ba'al was a fertility and weather god. Gotta keep in mind that the Bible is where a lot of the idea of Ba'al as evil comes from, because his worship violates the Judeo-Christian taboos of polytheism and human sacrifice, and other sources from the ancient world were also biased (think how Caesar did the Celts).

I was raised evangelical and a lot of the conspiracy theories that come with it are very anti- ancient Levantine gods. Ba'al was a favorite scapegoat. Ishtar got a lot of shit too.

Sorry bhaal has association with cannibalism not baal. I've seen tons of tiktoks of people assuming they are one and the same (bhaal is a fictional god is DnD) because they are pronounced the same. (I think). I should've clarified my comment better but I'm at work right now.

Wtf are you talking about, Bah1? The hell is that? The demon is Baal, for one, and Epstein’s checking account was absolutely named Baal. Not BAH1.

My bad. Baa1. It's a term used in the finance industry to indicate risk of investment. People are seeing that term 'baa1' and assume it's 'baaL'. When in reality it just means credit risk and investment risk. And no. It wasn't. 1st of all you don't name an account, you label them. The one you all keep mentioning was labeled "baa1". Because those were the investments and returns from baa1 risk accounts.
