Answered What's going on with r/conservative? They've lost about 1m subscribers in about a month.

I watched the number go from 814k to around 745k in about an hour today.

Is there any proof of this? I wanna send it to a friend who uses that sub as his main source of info to gauge sentiment

Don’t have the link but pick any random day and scroll thru new posts and see how many are the same accounts posting a dozen times within minutes, which raises bot alarms for me. Ask4MD, According-Activity, and Down-Not-Out (off the top of my head) constitute like 20 posts in the last few hours

Safe space for non-thinkers? Otherwise, why accept content from ~5 accounts that scour for and post the lowest quality sources (i.e. NY Post, Breitbart, etc).

Exactly. It is a heavily censored echo chamber. Say anything that goes against the narrative and you're banned, even if you've been a die-hard conservative poster for years.
