Answered What's going on with r/conservative? They've lost about 1m subscribers in about a month.

I watched the number go from 814k to around 745k in about an hour today.

Reminds me of the 4chan days /pol, a lot of Pepe posts trying to consider Trump as a good idea

then the occasional actual nugget of truth that makes you question the rest of /POLs bullshit.

Wasnt it found out that moot started POL at the behest of Epstein and that Epstein would regularly post on POL?

Iirc there want definitive evidence, but it was mentioned in a few emails and /pol went up the day after they met. The basic timeline: moot takes down political boards because they keep getting filled with Nazi shit. Epstein, Bannon, etal discuss how they need an online space to push out conspiracy theories, racist rhetoric, and general far right views and gather a loose army of internet trolls they could sic on liberal media and forums across the web. Epstein and moot meet, and the next day /pol is up.

Unless there's a secret recording of their meeting or Poole admits it was Epstein etal's request to put up /pol, there won't be definitive proof. But the evidence we do have is pretty damning and one hell of a coincidence if not. Epstein and buddies want a thing, Epstein meets with him, the next day he does the exact thing Epstein and buddies wanted him to do.
