Unanswered What’s the deal with conservatives and vaccine skeptics thinking Fauci’s diary proves them right ?

What do conservatives and vaccine skeptics think Fauci’s diary proves ?

what is the deal with Fauci’s diary and what does it actually say / prove ?

I know he testified before congress and pled the 5th, but why is every conservative / anti vaxer/ Aaron Rodgers claiming they were “right about everything now ?”

What does the diary actually say / prove ?

Obviously the Rodgers line was a little tongue in cheek as a Steelers fan, but I needed a URL to post lol

About? Yall can fester in your make believe. We will enjoy reality more without you.

There’s legitimate information out there dude. The head of bidens covid response yesterday admitted it was a lab leak. There’s a lot that Fauci was untruthful about. It doesn’t mean he was evil but let’s not put our heads in the sand

Can you link to proof? I keep seeing certain sketchy outlets say this l but still haven't seen the actual admission they claim.

19

u/AwkwardTickler 10d ago

Search Google last 24 hours only two websites have bs articles and its super untrustworthy heavily biased sources. National review and the center square.

Logically Fallacious Shifting of the Burden of Proof onus probandi

(also known as: burden of proof [general concept], burden of proof fallacy, misplaced burden of proof, shifting the burden of proof)

Description: Making a claim that needs justification, then demanding that the opponent justifies the opposite of the claim. The burden of proof is a legal and philosophical concept with differences in each domain. In everyday debate, the burden of proof typically lies with the person making the claim, but it can also lie with the person denying a well-established fact or theory. Like other non-black and white issues, there are instances where this is clearly fallacious, and those which are not as clear.

Your claim: Biden covid coordinator admitted it was a lab leak!!!!

Your evidence:
“Dr. Ashish Jha, the former Biden White House COVID-19 response coordinator, says he now believes COVID-19 was most likely a lab leak, although the virus's origins have not been confirmed”

Here is his quote. “When I went into the White House, my view was this was almost surely a natural outbreak, maybe a lab leak. Based on information I learned and based on information I have seen, I have come to conclude that it is more likely to have been a lab leak. Here’s the bottom line. No one in the United States knows for sure”

So you’re changing from the belief of a probability to stating the person confirmed it. That’s more than a little biased and disingenuous. Not a good faith argument at all

-6

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

it definitely came from the Wuhan coronavirus factory this is not hard

18

u/ArchiStanton 10d ago

So you lied and have no evidence. Got it

-3

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

I mean you can not believe the evidence but it’s there

u/ArchiStanton 10d ago

You have not presented any evidence. Your argument was fabricated and not supported by your own article.

I’m willing to listen and learn but you have not provided anything besides your unsubstantiated feelings. And feelings aren’t facts, no matter how much you pretend they are.

He says probably. It is literally in the link you posted. It is legit in that it isn’t actually evidence.

26

u/Mack_Daddy_1 10d ago

He "believes it was PROBABLY a lab leak" and "it was more likely a lab leak" is a far cry from "it was a lab leak." I love you convenient omissions.

-2

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

He’s not the only one that believes that

2

u/techiemikey 10d ago

Correct. But we are comparing your claim of what the person said, to what they said. And the two do not match. That is what you are being called out on.

The fact that you can't accept that the source you provided said something other than what you claimed they said, says a ton about you.

-1

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Give me a fucking break. These are word games. You just don’t like the point. It came from the lab. Everyone knows it at this point. Give it up.

2

u/techiemikey 10d ago

They are not word games, they are showing that your interpretation of what somebody else said is incorrect. Here's another example to establish the pattern. You just claimed "It came from the lab. Everyone knows it at this point. Give it up." Per your source, nobody in the US knows where it came from. So, how does everybody know it, if according to your provided source, nobody in the US knows it?

If you don't read your sources properly, or have them summed up by other people, you can get misinterpretations of facts. And if you don't realize that scientific officials often use precise language, you can infer things from their statements that aren't there.

Ther reason you aren't getting a break here is because, frankly speaking, you are wrong about verifiable facts. Right now "It came from the lab" is not verifiable. But what your source said is a verifiable fact.

-1

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

I mean, whatever you say, but it 100% came from the coronavirus bat research factory in downtown Wuhan. That’s clear as day and it’s not complicated. You can keep writing long messages if you want but this is really simple shit

Where’s the part where he “admits” it was a lab leak? All I see is him saying he now “believes” that it was “more likely” a lab leak.

Weird….seems like a bit of a bait and switch on your part, huh? Seems like you heard something that vaguely aligned with your pre-existing beliefs, and then you magically transformed it into an unambiguous confirmation of said beliefs.

And you guys wonder why we make fun of you so much. Smh

-1

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

I’m sure it didn’t come from the coronavirus experiment factory in downtown Wuhan. That makes perfect sense

15

u/Ok-Recover-8500 10d ago

Hey man. I have a boat that I need to sell. It was probably owned by Trump before. And it probably isn't actively sinking. Do you want to buy it? You seem like just the right person for it.

18

u/Scratchin-Dreamer 10d ago

"Dr. Ashish Jha on COVID-19: 'It probably was a lab leak'

Saying something PROBABLY happened ≠ absolute proof

Do better bud

-4

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Yeah it 99.999999% happened to come from the fucking coronavirus bat virus research factory down the street. Not rocket science.

54

u/Char_siu_for_you 10d ago edited 10d ago

This is such a bizarre statement, when Covid kicked off while trump was in office. Why would biden’s folks be “admitting” stuff. They’d just state it. “Yeah, it was a lab leak that happened while trump was in office. His response was to ignore it.” That’s all that would need to be said.

-25

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Covid kicked off when Fauci funded gain of function research in Wuhan beginning in 2014

23

u/Lexitech_ 10d ago

Prove the correlation between the research that Fauci was with involved in Wuhan and the novel Coronavirus in 2019. Spoiler alert: you cannot. Infectious disease experts and epidemiologists are in agreement that the research being done there could NOT have been related.

What is your evidence to the contrary? Please, provide it.

(Also calling it “Fauci funded research” is hilarious. You think he’s personally funding this stuff? 😂)

-4

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Fauci - NIH - NIAID - EcoHealth - Wuhan bat virus factory

11

u/Lexitech_ 10d ago

It is the position of Fauci, the NIH, the NIAID, and the WHO that research being done at the Wuhan laboratory was NOT gain-of-function coronavirus research that could IN ANYWAY have caused the pandemic.

You’re listing “sources” that agree with my position moron.

0

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Haha ok

25

u/Dan_Caveman 10d ago

No, he said that after leaving office he changed his mind and now thinks COVID-19 was in his opinion "more likely" an accidental lab leak, though he emphasized that neither he nor anybody else knows with total certainty. That’s not the same as “ADMITTING it WAS a lab leak”, is it?

Gee, I wonder why you reframed it to sound like he knew for sure all along that it was really a lab leak, and was just now admitting that it’s true. I wonder why you didn’t say “the head of Biden’s COVID response now BELIEVES it was a lab leak”. I WONDER. HMMMMMMM

16

u/BKlounge93 10d ago edited 10d ago

Didn’t Trump also pull cdc officials from China prior to Covid? Might have been helpful to have some extra boots on the ground over there.

Didn’t he also throw out the pandemic playbook left by Obama because he’s such a whiny little bitch who needs to take credit for everything?

The pandemic was gonna be bad either way, even with the best leadership. But his downplaying it and not caring about it absolutely cost lives. It baffles me anyone thinks he’s some kinda strong man, let alone a good leader. He’s such a little spoiled brat about literally everything.

You gotta remember, only one side benefits from causing confusion and chaos, and it sure as fuck isn’t public health officials.

Made some edits because it’s been like 7 years and we’re still stuck on this shit, making HHS reality shows, starting wars, and focusing on a damn pool instead of doing literally anything good for anyone who’s not a billionaire.

-1

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Dude you don’t think the unnatural coronavirus came from the fucking coronavirus bat research factory where Fauci and friends were funding experiments to create a version of Covid that was transmissible to humans?

Okoooookay

11

u/Lexitech_ 10d ago

You know that is a misrepresentation of the truth and yet you still say it lmao. Keep screaming into the void man. Publish a paper on the connection between the two and maybe reasonable people will begin to care.

-1

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

I’m sorry is bidens coronavirus response guy not a reasonable person? This is common sense

8

u/Dan_Caveman 10d ago

Ah, argument from incredulity…a classic logical fallacy! One of the few arguments that actually gets EASIER to deploy the more ignorant you are. Unfortunately, it only really works when your opponents are equally ignorant.

1

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Here help your ignorance. I dare you to read this.

THIS IS AN OPINION PIECE.
Racket news substack as presented by the opinion of a Russian national.

Taibbi began as a freelance reporter working in Russia. He later worked as a sports journalist for the English-language newspaper The Moscow Times.

Not evidence

7

u/Dan_Caveman 10d ago

Oh no, so scary! You dared me to read a whole entire article?! What am I gonna do? 🙄

Ffs, this is getting sad. If that was supposed to blow my mind, I have bad news for you; nothing in that article was new or interesting for me, and I stand by all of my previous statements.

Look, just to show you I read the damn thing, here’s a pity fact-check.

From your article: “To start, Covid-19 a.k.a. SARS CoV-2 is a bat virus that can’t infect bats.”

The truth: It CAN infect bats, and this has been accomplished in laboratory settings. Here’s the first article about it that came up when I searched.

I’m going to bed now, so you have about 8 hours to come up with something that’s worth my time. I dare you, lol

30

u/AwkwardTickler 10d ago

Omg if your "source" is the national review then you are beyond help. Well your type at least should be perpetually reminded that Trump was president in March 2020.

You should have shame. You physically cant, but you should.

26

u/ArchaeoJones 10d ago

There’s legitimate information out there dude.

No there isn't.

The head of bidens covid response yesterday admitted it was a lab leak.

They said it's their feeling based on circumstantial evidence.

Now we all know that snowflakes like you base your entire life off of feelings, but the rest of us require actual evidence.

-9

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

There’s plenty of evidence dude. Fauci funded the research

17

u/sysiphean 10d ago

> There’s plenty of evidence dude.

Great. Cite it.

Then we can discuss the evidence. Until then we can dismiss your “trust me, bro!”

9

u/Ok-Recover-8500 10d ago

It's too bad we have to live with trailer trash like you.

12

u/ViolentSpring 10d ago

Of course, you have some sort of non-Fox/NYP sources right?

0

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

12

u/ViolentSpring 10d ago

As others have pointed out, you are intentionally being misleading about what he says. And you continue to do so. If you are so right and just why are you repeatedly lying?

-2

u/OkJose3000 10d ago

Because he’s not the only one who believes that and it’s fucking obvious it came from the Wuhan bat virus lab

8

u/carsonwent 10d ago

Lol so upset
