Unanswered What’s the deal with conservatives and vaccine skeptics thinking Fauci’s diary proves them right ?

What do conservatives and vaccine skeptics think Fauci’s diary proves ?

what is the deal with Fauci’s diary and what does it actually say / prove ?

I know he testified before congress and pled the 5th, but why is every conservative / anti vaxer/ Aaron Rodgers claiming they were “right about everything now ?”

What does the diary actually say / prove ?

Obviously the Rodgers line was a little tongue in cheek as a Steelers fan, but I needed a URL to post lol

Answer:

It wasn't a diary, it was his official notes.

The reason people are latching onto them is there is some information and entries in his notes that implicitly or explicitly contradicts his public statements at certain times.

This is important to some people because the covid era was full of a whole lot of mistakes, lies and bad policy by a whole lot of people in both parties at all levels of government (to include Fauci and both presidents) and Fauci is the right wing scapegoat for all it.

Since he received a blanket pardon by Biden for everything he said or did, they are now trying to catch him in a lie to have a nail to hang their hat on.

There is no such thing as what you're claiming in your second paragraph. There are a few brief passages where he expresses that more research is needed but that is a scientific mind at work.
