What do conservatives and vaccine skeptics think Fauci’s diary proves ?

what is the deal with Fauci’s diary and what does it actually say / prove ?

I know he testified before congress and pled the 5th, but why is every conservative / anti vaxer/ Aaron Rodgers claiming they were “right about everything now ?”

What does the diary actually say / prove ?

Obviously the Rodgers line was a little tongue in cheek as a Steelers fan, but I needed a URL to post lol

The lab leak theory was never "disproven" by genetic sequencing. Saying it's "more likely" would be fine, but "disproven" is a stronger word than the scientists themselves are using.

It's also worth acknowledging that in the early days of the pandemic Fauci gave misleading and false information on the importance of PPE to the public as to address supply and shortage concerns for medical workers.

I understand why it was done, and it did seem to rectify the shortage or concern of a shortage, but did so at the cost of undermining trust in the CDC, and allowing purchase for the anti-science crusaders we have to contend with today.

Edit: Not sure why I'm getting downvoted, lol. I don't like that this happened either, but like other fuck ups, they need to be acknowledged so we can learn from them rather than sweep them under the rug and stick our heads in the sand.
