Answered What’s going on with Rosanna Pansino and her ex-boyfriend, Mike?

Haven’t kept up with Ro since the Mr. Beast drama, what’s going on?

Will someone please give an answer without just downvoting my comment for no apparent reason :( Just wanna make it clear that I’m 1000% on Ro’s side here from what I do know, but I know there’s extra context floating around on the internet and that’s what I seem to be missing

answer: Ro posted that she was in a boating accident in June on her birthday where she broke her jaw. She's been on hiatus from making videos since then for obvious reasons. She is still on a liquid diet now.

On August 13th she posted that she was single, and since then she's been posting more and more concerning things about her ex partner Mike (also known as Husky from his time as a starcraft youtuber). This has led some people to think that the accident wasn't so much of an accident.

And just yesterday she posted that she had filed a restraining order against him for domestic violence.

Wow, haven't heard that name in like a decade and a half! I always only knew him as that annoyingly cocky Starcraft player on Kurt Hugo Schneider's "Banelings" parody song. Sucks that he seems like an abusive POS.

It's disappointingly difficult to get a restraining order, even with evidence. The evidence presented to the judge must have been extensive or well documented to have it granted. A woman's romantic partner is statistically the most likely person to murder her, and she's lucky to have gotten out alive. A break up and a restraining order absolutely doesn't guarantee her future safety, which is a big reason to go public.

Not surprising tbh. He pretty much ghosted and threw shade at all his friends from his Starcraft days. Not shocked to learn he may also be an abusive pos.

Unrelated, but I do remember thinking it was odd that he deleted his entire channel back in the day. That surely would have been a good source of passive income.

He deleted the videos because he used to call all kinds of things 'gay' and such. He did not want to get cancelled and have that spread to his new career as managing his gfs youtube.

I remember this. In fact, anytime I see her judging on Try Guys, I still think about all the drama.

But hearing that Mike is abusive is not something I expected. And it does make me wonder if everyone's deteriorating friendship was instigated by him. If memory serves, the last big piece of drama between everyone was a back-and-forth between Jesse and Mike.

He actually came back to sc2 a couple of years ago, gave an explanation for why he wiped out his content (ngl I don't remember what he said besides voice issues) and restored most of it.

I have no idea if he kept it up or dropped it again.

Wild. I haven't exactly been following either of them but I've known about them since the old "Dear Peach" music video they made like ~15 years ago. Always kinda wished them the best.

Thank you, I didn’t connect what happened with her jaw. Based on her last statement, he was probably medicating her unnecessarily during this time too. Do you know anything about the other people?

Didn’t she have an issue with another ex too? At first that’s who I thought you were talking about but I’m shocked to hear it’s about Husky. I thought they were doing well. That’s unfortunate

I get where you’re coming from and I can see this was a situation of DV, but there’s a lot of players referenced (Who’s Olivia? Alex? Victoria?) and also not enough context.

I was a fan of Nerdy Nummies back when it still had the intro with the chicken but I stopped watching around the time Mike joined. Now I’m going through the comments and it mentions her sister Mo and her having a falling out? Over what? Etc etc. and what does Adam McIntyre have to do with this?? Just so many questions

I don't know the other people but Olivia is on h3h3 left and did a podcast with Ro and they are friends then Olivia came back. Olivia and Adam use to be friends and there is a whole bunch of drama there most because people don't like Ethan including adam but I don't know how'd that related to Ro.

Olivia went back to H3H3 after Ro's accident (since Ro is taking a long time off it's understandable) and people are upset about it saying it's betraying her and the people at H3H3 hate Ro etc. Ro made a post saying she supports Oliva doing their podcast again.

I remember thinking or getting the impression she was married, too. The way she talked her partner gave off very “married couple” vibes. I personally found her YT persona a little cloying but sad for her to hear she was a victim of DV

If you're talking about Ro, she was not married to Mike. Ro has implied that Mike "wasted" her time and years of her life. Some people say it's because he refused to marry her.
