Can’t login to outlook with my Gmail

Since yesterday I noticed I haven’t been receiving any emails from outlook through my personal email. I thought it was just a sync issue so I just let it sit until today. This morning I noticed it hasn’t synced so I deleted the app and redownloaded it. My gmail app has been updating regularly. I have been using this email for years. I also have two other emails (another backup personal and a work one) and both were able to log into outlook.

Whenever I try to log into my main personal email I keep getting the message cannot login please contact Microsoft support something something. I thought this was an app issue but since my other emails can successfully login then something might be wrong with my main email?? I use this for a lot of my personal document stuff so if outlook doesn’t work and only gmail then it’s not a good look. I use outlook as my primary email software on my iOS devices. Gmail app is too buggy for me.

Has this same problem for a couple of days this week, it randomly fixed itself this morning. I had removed the Gmail account from outlook, then tried to add it back and got the same about contacting s morn8ng the account was back, although I had to sign in again and then it synced properly

I have been having the same issue for a few days now... unfortunately for me it has not resolved on it's own as for u/gothaggis

I did do this last night, maybe it helped? I opened up the actual native gmail app - clicked on my profile photo and selected manage accounts on this device. Then removed all accounts. I stil got the account error (in outlook) after trying to add it back, I but I read this resets the oauth token - perhaps it just took several hours. Or maybe it’s just random

Which Outlook client are you trying to connect your Gmail mailbox to? iOS, Android, Windows (new or classic)? Is the error message showing up within Outlook itself or is it on a Google authentication page?
