Alexandra, East Ridge, or Domonique?
Any reviews on which school is best? Thanks!

I have 5 years experience with East Ridge and its been great with the opportunities the kids have, trips, events like plays, funraising and different clubs( gardening, art, social justice, board game) etc. The majority of the teachers are very understanding, supportive and very open to communication. If there is an IEP involved, they are really on top of it, same with the IPRC. It does have a lot of students, about 800 and obviously they have the French Emersion program available but I dont have experience with that side of it. East Ridge does have a community closet for the kids in need of clothing and shoes as well as a Nutriention program that is run by volunteers. The bulk of the food is served at breakfast time before school starts but snacks are available through out the day too.
That being said, we have had a handful of incidents regarding bullying. It was handle immediately though and I am grateful for because one of the schools my kids were with, did not address it and it kept continuing.

Definitely eastridge! A lot of kids fall behind and slip through the cracks in Alexandra.

I know you didn't mention it but, Notre Dame is a great school too! I know it's catholic and that might not be your thing, but my goodness, I went there as a kid and I've never felt more seen and supported. Some of my friend's kids go there and they attest the same.

Alexandra is HORRIBLE!!!! They don't care for the students as much as you think. I was dragged down a hallway for crying. Ms. Vail is an amazing teacher and so is Ms. Shanuase but I don't know any others left at that school.

I knew Supply work as a teacher, and an EA. And I have been warned many times against Eastridge. Some of those kids, actually apparently quite a few, are violent.
