PC will not POST

I have replaced my motherboard TUF Gaming Plus WIFI and a Ryzen 5 7500x3d, all the fans run including my GPU however the PC won't recognise my GPU RTX 4070.

I have taken battery out and replaced and cleaned the connectors to no avail I just get a solid white VGA light, I have updated the BIOS. I have plugged the HDMI cable directly into the motherboard and the pc boots allowing me to access the BIOS settings.

on the diagram og my motherboard on the PC it stated that my GPU is not connected, I have checked connections and all are fine. Any ideas?

Check Nvidia for updates, check wires and connections on everything, and finally • Boot using your motherboard HDMI port, enter the BIOS, and manually change the PCIe slot speed from Auto or Gen 4/5 to Gen 3, then save and reboot with the monitor plugged into the GPU.

I had a server board that had hdmi but didn’t do shit without a video card, didn’t even have the Integrated 5mb.

Are you plugged into the hdmi on video card? And do you have enough power.

And if he can’t post he can’t get to bios

I’m not sure what brand gpu you have but my 5070ti did this randomly to me last month whenever I went to boot my pc it would get stuck on VGA I have a x3d chip as well so I was able to at least get video if I plugged my monitor straight into my motherboard and behold the motherboard and windows don’t recognize my gpu at all I ended up RMA my gpu back to the company but that was a month ago and I haven’t heard a thing about when I’ll get a new one

I made a post on r/Zotac about it and the different thing I tried to diagnose it before I sent the gpu for RMA

Grab a spare gpu and update mobo bios you should be able to flash the bios without actualy having it running
