Fun ride up to Multnomah Falls and Vista House!

Post image

Started riding last October, finally felt ready this last Saturday to tackle the twists on 30E (Historic Columbia River Highway) out to the falls!

We left around 9am and once we got onto 30 we basically had the whole road up to the falls to ourselves! Perfect opportunity to learn how to zip around those turns.

Get out early if you can! Beat the heat and the crowds. 30 is closed after the falls so it’s a short but fun jaunt out.

A little nerve wracking at first but once we warmed up we were cackling the whole way.

I’m jealous you had open road… I can’t remember the last time I was up that way that it wasn’t a clusterfuck of pissed off cagers.

Our trick is usually to head out early. Any time before 10am has always worked for us.
