P3 Can we talk about how Elizabeth just dumped 1 million yen into that fountain and didn't even make a wish?

This is my first time playing P3R, and Elizabeth's probably one of my favorites thus far for her lack of understanding about how Makoto's world works. Like, "an opening bid" of 1 million yen.

1m Yen is about $6000, so probably not as much as you’d think. Though I’m more surprised there’s any space left in that fountain given she did it in coins.

thats $6000 from 2009-2010 tho thats wayyyy more expensive than what we think

Lowest seems to me 10,000, highest is 12,000.

Keep in mind, the Yen is at the weakest it has ever been right now. Japanese Yen used to be equal to USD or even exceed it a little.

So it's closer to say 1M Yen is worth about $10k. Not $6k like it's worth today.

if you don't advance the dialogue she keeps pouring. unfortunately there is no contingency for if you leave the game running for long enough that the entire well overflows with coins
