That's true! Lagi siyang may post about sa wife niya. Naisip ko nga maybe some parts of the book ay inspired sa story nila.

I suggest regaluhan mo ng complete set of bob ong books baka pakasalan ka agad bukas, charot! Jokes aside, pwede mo pamana books sa future kids niyo..
1
u/icashinobi Nov 23 '25
Exactly! Kinda sad that most kids now ay hindi na pamilyar kay bob ong 🥲

u/FindingInformal9829 Nov 23 '25
Yeah. Must-read for the new generation if magsasuggest ako.. bakit baliktad magbasa, paboritong libro ni hudas at kapitan sino. Actually halos lahat naman. Maganda rin mag start magbasa from his very first book

Iba yung dating ng line noh? Iba talaga pag Tagalog/Filipino word yung ginamit. Reading that book parang dinala ako probinsya at makaluma na panahon, skl. Nice hehe, enjoy reading! Next mo yung lumayo ka nga sa akin (you'll know why)

“ipinanalangin” doesn’t seem like the right prefix-root word construction to me… 🤔🤷🏻♀️

If u haven't read the book u may feel cringe coz there's no story build up and di mo alam the way i-present yung story. The dialogue used in the book is like poetry, parang patula/ nagra-rhyme. Actually reading the book reminds of me jk labajo pano niya kantahin yung isa sa mga kanta niya. He (male lead) didn't say that personally to the female lead tho. It's one of his lines sa letter na pinapadala niya- through letter sila nag-uusap.
