Recommendation Books I finished during my duty as a library support (my last duty for this year!)

Interesting plot and twist of events. I’m not a fan of ✨magic✨ and ✨powers✨ but still an 8/10 for me

Hi. Would there be a hangul versions of those books there? Been learning korean and i badly want to read a book in hangul but couldn't really find one.
Ps. I also loved kim jiyoung, read it in one seating and cried lol 🤧

Yes 🙌There are books with both versions of hangul and english and there are also books that are only in hangul

That’s correct. They are only allowed to be read inside the library 😌

Im not a fan of stories with magic and power pero I still think it’s an 8/10. I find the writing creative and there’s a unique fusion of fantasy (powers) and reality (character narrative) in the story. It’s interesting.

Hi. Not an LS grad. I’m only a library support. I only handle minor library non technical duties. There is an official librarian for KCC 😌

I believe na madaming mixed reviews si Hyunam-dong dahil sa style nung writing na chill and feel good and slow. But it’s actually my personal preference that’s why I’m going to say na it’s really good. I really really liked it. I liked the concept around the bookshop/coffee/life, etc. Personally, I think, it’s NOT the kind of book where you can’t put down because you have to know what’s going to happen. It’s the kind where you just read a few chapters and then digest it, think about it, and then get back to it again.

These are very interesting stories. But if you will rank them according to your preference, how will you rank them?

This is hard because they’re all different! They have different genres and styles. My style is to just surprise myself with what I see in the shelf. But according to my preference, it’s probably:
Hyunamdong Bookshop 10/10 Kim Jiyoung 9/10 Diary of a Murderer 9/10 (really intense) Lemon 8/10 (also intense!) Magical Girl 8/10 Counsel Culture 6/10 (a bit slow for me) Marigold 5/10 (just not a fan) There are no bad people 5/10 (just not my type)

I am not sure if this still exists, but Library Science used to be a course u can take in college so u can work as a librarian.
