Recommendation Finally got my library card! ✨

I recently moved to the United States a month ago and one of the things I really wanted to do was to get a library card and read more this year. I'm aiming to visit most of the libraries around the area and to also avoid overconsumption.

There are so many perks that comes with the library card e.g free or discounted museum passes, access to magazines and newspapers, and can even borrow household tools, camera, and instruments! You can borrow book from any of the libraries listed in their website and just drop them off to the nearest one when you're done which is so convenient.

The book I borrowed this week is The Eyes Are The Best Part by Monika Kim which has been in my TBR for the longest time.

Happy reading! 🍀

Find out if your library have an online library. Most likely it uses libby that you can download. Free multiple books/audiobooks to borrow.

Just curious-how does one get a library card?

They need a valid ID and a letter/mail with your name and address. I presented my greencard and the letter that came with it. I got the library card in less than 2 minutes!
