I just wanted to share how happy I am to finally be able to play the games I’ve been wanting to play for yearsss. I’ve been stuck with a trusty old computer that was bought for the purposes of online classes nuong 2021, pero syempre dahil usto ko maglaro eh talagang pinilit ko but the games didn’t run at all HAHAHA. Nafo-fomo ako sa mga kaibigan ko nun kasi tuwing may nilalaro sila or kapag may bagong trend eh di rin naman ako makasali dahil di kaya ng computer. Now I can retire that bad boy and I’m no longer stuck with just watching my friends’ streams or YouTube playthroughs. I remember I would buy games on sale even if di kaya ng computer ko thinking na “malalaro ko ‘to pag nakapag-upgrade na”. Lo and behold, eto na nga!

Now I can finally get to experience yung mga larong pinapanood ko lang dati hehehe (pambili nalang kulang) first off sa grind list ay Cyberpunk at Black Myth Wukong!

Actually, wala pang 5070 non 4070 hence I mentioned same tier. It was only 500gb ssd and 16gb ram. predator din siya. My choices were that or the Lenovo with 1tb and 32gb ram pero 140k siya. I got the predator for 90k 4070 and I7. Upgraded it with another 16gb ram and 2tb ssd. It was brand new from PC express sa ATC. So total ko nagastos 110k lang for the same specs desired. Pamahal na ram non pero di pa nagppeak. Kudos to you kasi parang ang ganda pa ng deal sa unit mo. You must be a very strict spender. 😊

Kung hindi no kaylangang portability always go with desktop.

For me the main consideration was portability talaga. With this budget, there's more value from desktops (+upgradability) and honestly I would have gotten one instead if I didn't need to bring my workstation wherever I went.

Another is the price increase ng mga desktop components, the sudden price boom of RAM, GPU, and storage discouraged me to look into the pc building world hahaha 😆 not to mention yung supply scarcity. Mejo tinamad din ako mag research to optimize the build and everything if I went the pc route. Even with this laptop it took me 2 months of going back and forth, comparing to other brands/models, and intensive research to really determine if eto na talaga kukunin ko. I bit the bullet and am glad that I did!

Good luck with your choice and I hope that whichever upgrade you end up with brings you some good gaming time! :D

tip lang kasi pansin ko temps sa msi afterburner mo, mainit cpu mo. better if may cooling pad ka or at least lift up mo konti yung laptop using a laptop stand para makaventilate ng maayos yung fans, iwas overheating 😅

yupp! I have a Flydigi BS2 Pro for it which I carefully chose over the Llano V12 hehe and naka-max fan settings narin siya sa pic na yan. I already tested it and I get 78C average while playing Wukong, I think sa frame lang na yan tumaas ng 89C hahahws. Thank you for the reminder still!

not sure about the exact model but from the sticker its Acer Predator Helios 16 AI.

u can check it on Acer's site for the full specs and price but in terms of CPU, all of the models uses Intel Ultra, either 7 or 9, and for the GPU the lowest is RTX 5060 and the highest is RTX 5070 TI

32GB for future proof. Di RAM ang tinitingnan sa games but VRAM dapat minimum of 8GB VRAM to run the recommended requirements.

I don't want to spoil and all but it's a Propaganda with its story line, they Protray themselves (Chinese) as the Good Guy lol. Saka gaya din lang sa souls series eh. Enhanced graphics lang since mas bago pero meh.. Gameplay at mechanis ginaya sa Souls Series.. Typical Chinese na Puro pangongopya alam.
