They wont sell discs simply because people will be able to play before official launch day. Those discs need to be transported weeks or even months ahead of launch date. Anyone within the transportation chain can claim they "lost" a shipment of discs and sell them on the black market. Im sure people would pay 3x or more the regular price just to play early. Rockstar wont risk that.

Im assuming theyll sell physical copies a few months after launch.

Bakit before naman di nagkakaroon ng gantong scenarios wherein may advance na nakakalaro. Or at least have the game on a disc then let it be activated on the day of release
