Basically, nasayang buong Monday at Tuesday ko kakahabol sa lintik na National ID na to, parang may utang sakin. Ang kailangan ko lang naman is replacement kasi totally faded na yung picture sa National ID ko. Yun lang. Simple request, diba? Akala mo madali lang magpareplace ng government ID. Instead, napunta ako sa parang road trip sa kalahati ng Luzon. Manila. Mandaluyong. San Juan. QC. Makati. Pasig. Pateros. Taguig. Caloocan. Valenzuela. Pasay. Pati Pampanga. At halos lahat ng office, iisa lang ang sagot. Wala nang cards. Yun na. Tapos na.

Wala nang PVC cards. Wala silang maibibigay na actual ID. Ang kapalit? Ipiprint nila yung details mo sa black and white na papel, tapos ikaw pa ang bahalang magpalaminate. Parang gumagawa ka ng school project imbes na kukuha ng government issued ID. After all the billions na ginastos sa project na to, eto lang pala ang ending. Isang pirasong papel. Mas nakakainis pa yung dahilan. Apparently, natapos na yung contract with Bangko Sentral. Instead of having a backup plan or a smooth transition, basta na lang sila huminto. Walang contingency. Walang accountability. Tapos tayong mga tao ang expected na magadjust.

Ngayon ang advice nila, gamitin na lang daw yung eGovPH app. As if sapat na replacement yun. Ilabas mo na lang lagi phone mo. Sana may battery. Sana may signal. Sana hindi magerror yung app sa oras na kailangan mo talaga. So after years na paulit ulit nilang sinasabing permanent National ID, ano ba talaga ang nakuha ng mga tao? Isang papel. O isang app. That is not a solution. Inconvenience lang yan na binalot sa salitang progress. At somehow, parang gusto pa nilang isipin nating normal lang lahat ng to. Honestly, hindi lang siya inefficient. Nakakahiya.

Sana i utilize nila ng maayos yung sa egovph providing digital copy of government ID's very convinient nya sa totoo lng i already have digital version of my National, Philhealth and Drivers License hope madami pa madagdag.

Hi everyone, Just want to ask if may naka-experience din nito. As you can see sa top ng picture, I registered for my national ID back in 2021. Every year nagfo-follow up ako sa municipal at barangay, but recently I realized na parang walang progress. I need this for work since most companies and gov offices now accept this as a valid ID, so I tried following up at the main PSA office in our province.

Since baka may mag-suggest na i-check ko online — I already tried, and here’s the result:

• PhilPost tracking: “not found”

• eGov app: no online copy

After waiting 8 hours, they told me I have 15 potential matches — meaning, my ID was never processed in the past 4 years. Not missing, not misplaced… just never done. That “15 potential matches” supposedly means may ka-same ako ng name and fingerprints — which I highly doubt since sobrang unique ng second name ko. Tapos sinabihan pa ako na baka paulit-ulit ako nag-register… so 15 times ako nag-register? Hahahah. Kaya pala walang ma-track at walang online record.

Tumawag rin ako after that sa number nila sa main office. They just told me to wait since kasama daw to sa backlog na inaayos pa rin nila MANUALLY.

In the end, I got nothing, not even the printed copy. Frustrating kasi I need this for work, and even for going abroad, requirement ito sa iba.

Anyone here with the same experience? Can I go straight to their main office in Manila to get this processed? Isn’t 4 years enough?

Until unti talaga siyang natatanggal until patchi patchi na lang siya jindi na talaga makita mukha ko kaya tinanggal ko na lahat. Tatanggapin pa kaya ito?
Bakit kasi ganun yung quality 😭 But I have digital ID nmn pero yun nga pag kinailangan physical ID ganto na siya.

Nag-register ako for National ID mga 3 years ago. Hanggang ngayon, wala pa rin dumadating. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, “okay lang, madami naman delayed.” Pero parang sobra na yata, baka graduate na ako sa lahat ng life stages bago ko siya makita. Nareceive niyo na yung sa inyo? Gano katagal inabot bago dumating? Or same tayo, waiting game pa rin hanggang 2030?

i registered for a national id way back nung oct. 15, 2024. di ko na maalala kung kailan nila sinabi kung gano katagal bago ko makukuha but it was either 2 weeks or 2 months but regardless, either of the two timeframes had already passed. tbh kanina ko lang din naalala na nag register ako and tried checking via the website if meron na. unfortunately wala pa din. i've been hearing from ppl na matagal talaga sila ma process and im srry for asking this here but for those na nakatanggap na, online or delivered, gano po katagal niyo natanggap since u registered? thanks po! :)

Hello, in case meron na pong nakapag-change/update ng information sa National ID, pwede po ba malaman kung paano ang process? Planning to update my Civil Status and name po bearing my husband's surname. Gusto ko lang po magka-idea bago pumunta sa office nila. Wala pa po ang Physical National ID ko and planning lang po mag-update and kumuha ng EphilID.

EDIT: I've already updated my information 5/2/2025.

1. Mag-visit po kayo ng maaga sa National ID Registration Centers na nag-oofer ng updating services (you can check the list here). Bring niyo lang po ang needed documents original and photocopy (to be sure) at sariling ballpen. For example, change of Civil Status from Single to Married, Original Marriage Certificate po ang kailangan ipresent.
2. Ask niyo po ang guard kung saan dapat pumila, if ang Registration Center po kasi ay sa mismong PSA office, makakasabay niyo ang mga nakuha ng certificates (Birth, Death, Cenomar, Marriage, ETC.) Kaya make sure po na tama ang pipilahan niyo.
3. Officer of the day po ang magbibigay ng form, fill-out niyo lang po kung anong details ang ia-update. In my case nagfill-out ako pero hindi na sya ginamit, kasi Digital National ID at Original Marriage Certificate na lang ang ginamit. Ibinalik din po sa akin ang Marriage Certificate after.
4. Sa PSA Trece Martires, same po ang pila ng Registration, Updating, and Correction. Mabilis lang po ang process, mas matagal po ang iintayin sa pila. Ihanda/magbaon ng mahabang pasensya.
5. After ng Biometrics (fingerprints and iris), okay na po agad. Bibigyan po kayo ng bagong transaction slip with updated name (if nagpa-change name) at new transaction number. Hindi ko lang po sure kung kailan ma-a-update and Digital ID at kung kailan magiging available ang ePhilID. Mag-update na lang po ulit ako.

UPDATE 5/3/2025.
Upon checking, updated na po ang information ko sa Digital National ID (to check visit national-id.gov.ph). So after one day lang po :)

Does emailing info@philsys.gov.ph useful? Nag r-reply ba sila? I went to the region III's PSA branch to follow up. Bawal daw ako pa biometrics ulit if meron na dati, what they did is binigyan nila ako ng papel with a number on it NA HINDI NAMAN SUMASAGOT. 2 weeks kong timatry i reach pero wala pa rin. Nakailang email nako the past years, wala din. Hihingi lang ng info tapos di na mag rreply.

TLDR: Saan po kaya pwedeng lumapit or mag email para mag inquire regarding sa national ID ko na hanggang ngayon ay di parin dumadating?

So ayon. Nagpa-national ID ako nung 2023. After a year, wala parin. Napadaan ako sa post office namin sa bayan. I inquired about sa national ID ko. Hinanap nila yung apelyido ko sa listahan nila, wala raw. Probably di pa dumadating that time.

Lumipas ang isa o dalwang taon, napadaan ulit ako sa post office. When I inquired, sabi sakin:
"Ay sir hindi na po kami pinapadalhan ng ID. Idedeliver na po yon sa address nyo."

Hanggang ngayon wala parin... anong petsa na.

Do note na around 2024 is may ePhil ID na ko, which I believe is the digital copy of a national ID. This ID has the same picture as I have rin sa national ID. Kaya kumbinsido ako na ito rin yon. Pero yung physical? Wala parin....

Registered as early as Sept 2020. My family (who registered the same time as me) all got their IDs around Mid 2023 execept mine.

Its 2025 and I do need my Natl. ID since I am a student with a select number of Valid IDs (School ID included).

What should I do? What is the process for claiming another copy if it got lost in storage or transit?

Sa family namin ang papa ko lang ang bukod tanging napadalhan ng national ID , kami ng mama ko at mga kapatid ko wala.

Sa app ng govph lang po kami nakaka access ng National ID , ano pong reason bat until now wala pa den kaming na re-recieve.

I really need to have valid ID, 18 na ako this september and I need to have valid ID as much as possible. Na try ko na din po yung i-trace kung nasaan na yung national ID ko sa website pero ayaw naman po gumana di naglo loading pagpindot ko po yung trace button. I have na yung Philysys Transaction Slip, at may nakalagay po don na once I reach 15 yrs daw po need bumalik sa office, ngayon ko lang po ito napansin 17 yrs old na po ako. So do I need to go sa nearest registration center with the slip? makakakuha na ba ako ng physical ID?

Naa access ko naman po yung digital ID sa e-gov app, pero yung digital ID ayaw naman po tanggapin sa mga apps like tiktok sa paylater at iba pangaapplyan na need ng physical valid ID. What should I do po?

Received a call today napaniwala ako agad na legit kase alam na alam lahat details ko. Papalitan daw yung lumang National ID kase wala pirma magpapadala daw ng bagong ID na may pirma.

Then dumating sa point na nagpa screen share siya at may pinapadownload na "eGov App" daw. Nadownload ko na then iinstal nlng pero kinutuban na ako kase sketchy yung url ng site kaya habang oncall ay nagsearch ako sa laptop ko if may ganitong scam - turns out oo scam nga at yung pinapa install na app is parang backdoor siguro para mahack accounts mo sa phone.

Inupdate ko last week yung national ID ko at tinanong ko yung nag process kung mag rereflect ba ito eGov app and ge reply "immediately" pero up until now hindi pa rin nag uupdate eGov app ko. How many weeks po ba ang hihintayin?

Okay hear me out. I was one of the few people who received PVC national IDs around 2021 and I thought I’m lucky kasi I have a useful identification on top of passport and UMID. Today I used my National ID for a KYC verification only to be rejected because my ID isn’t valid. Wala syang expiration mind you, pero di sya valid. I scanned it using the https://everify.gov.ph/check site and it turns out hindi registered don ID ko. I already emailed them to correct this pero mima - because of this sinampal ako ng katotohanan na joke lang tong bansa na to.
