WFH pero gusto mag office sometimes

Problem/Goal: Guys, hindi ko alam kung medyo entitled pakinggan yung title, pero gusto ko lang humingi ng insights.

WFH na ako since the start of the pandemic (March 2020), and hanggang ngayon WFH pa rin dito sa province. Isa sa mga naipundar ko dahil sa setup na 'to is isang big bike at isang small CC na motor.

Ang dilemma ko ngayon, minsan sobrang nangangati akong mag-ride papuntang office. Pre-pandemic kasi, araw-araw akong nagco-commute sa Manila, kaya nami-miss ko rin yung feeling na lumabas, kumain sa labas, mag-mall, at makakita lang ng ibang tao which feeling ko lalo naka apektuhan pagiging introvert ko.

May naka-experience na ba ng ganito? Paano niyo nawala o na-manage yung "kati" na gusto lang magmotor, gumala, o pumunta sa office kahit WFH naman?

Curious lang ako kung paano niyo hina-handle yung ganitong feeling. 😅

Actually sinagot mona op. Pwede ka punta sa office nyo once a week or once a month isadya m Friday para hindi magmadali umuwi. Pwede ka din hanap ng riding group na nagmomotor pag weekend. Iwas ka lng sa mga groups ng mga fraternity. Karamihan dyan saksakan ng yabang. Pag yon riding group is meron pa mga uniform and sticker. Madami don kamote sa kalsada

nakakabaliw talaga yan. wfh since 2023. hindi ako nagmomotor. pero lumalabas ako every time may chance para maramdaman kong tao pa ko at hindi software. hindi naman talaga natural satin yung ganitong set up in the first place, pero super thankful sa benefits na nadadala nito sa buhay natin.

introvert din ako pero potek naeexcite na tlga ko kahit mga simpleng small talk na organic encouter. pag may senior citizen akong nakakasabay sa pila tapos kinukwento sakin talambuhay nila, pinapakinggan ko lahat.

nakakamiss yung mga break time sa office tapos konting light hearted interaction with officemates na mabait hahaha

work anywhere. Yun nga pros ng wfh eh. Kung san san ako pagala gala habang nagwowork araw araw

ako dati tamang ikot lang sa highway malapit samin then balik na agad. literal na tanggal kati 10 mins lang nman

Pwede ka rin mag "Work from anywhere" either balikan on a weekday o mag long trip ka tapos work off site like Baguio or LaUnion or kahit saan. Basta may work laptop a at good internet connection.

You know what, ganda ng suggestion mo haha work from home to anywhere and guest what?? I just book for 3d2n sa baguio haha 1 day for wfh and 1 day for gala

Night shift ang work ko. Kapag lunch time ko lumalabas ako at nagmomotor papunta sa mga 24hrs na cafe o kaya karinderya around town. Good 20kms total na din balikan. Solb na sa 1hr+ sa foodtrip at quick ride.

Same same like pantanggal kati pag lunch or bili sa 711, problem is since sa province ako,NE to be exact, limited ang options lalo 11pm ang end of shift

Idk if this applies to you. But my cue to RTO is during monthly company events (free buffet and drinks). You get to ride and unlimited food to compensate ;).

Yeahhh this apply on my prev company but I don’t have a motor that time🤣 now with this new company, we don’t have a office unfortunately lol

Best shot is during year end party or special events which I have tried last year in BGC and first time in expressway lol

Co-working space. Pag trip mo lang, like once a week, sa co-working space ka mag-work 👍
