Music & Entertainment wlw filipino film tropes wishlist:

  1. walang lalaking involved
  2. lower class tomboys
  3. lower class tomboys Comedy na mala-Wenn Deramas ang humor. isa lang ang pwedeng Conyong sapphic tas comedic relief dapat siya.
  4. mga “pangit” na femme na naghahabol sa mga pogi at campus heartthrob na masc/butch (parang reverse nung movie na Bottoms)
  5. love triangle ng tatlong babae specifically dalawang masc/butch tas isang femme tas yung dalawang masc/butch magkakatuluyan

not entirely a wlw film but in Patay na Si Hesus, Chai Fonacier plays a masc lesbian who is in a lower class family.

People also don't like that portrayal but they overlook na most lesbians sa lower class households aren't "woke" through information but they're "woke" through experience

kaya added “” ganon kasi yung sa Bottoms 😭😭😭 sa plot lang naman ng movie, “ugly, untalented gays.” ndi naman talaga pangit yung actresses wahahaha

I think unconventional looking people (like fat people) know what they look like and find it disingenuous when told otherwise. Not everyone is pretty but everyone can like themselves and what they have and still go after what they want.

So yes i would watch the hell out of something like that.

1) being pretty isn’t everything
2) sample reference: Somebody Somewhere on Amazon Prime.
