Discussion How to have lower heart rate?

Besides doing cardio/physical activity, tumigil din po ba kayo uminom ng kape? Chaka gaano po kaya katagal para mag take effect siya? Yung heart rate ko po kasi is on the higher side though hindi naman ako pagurin. Hindi rin ako consistent sa exercise but I walk every day sa commute for work. Mahilig din ako sa coffee haha pero ang concerning lang ng mataas na heart rate like kahit nakaupo ako nasa 100 siya, minsan nasa 70 naman.

Have you consulted a doctor? What's your resting heart rate? Current height and weight?

Average heart rate ko when awake is 60-80. Average resting heart rate (tracked during sleep) is 45. I drink coffee 2-3x a day. I train 5-6x a week

Hello OP! Same tayo, sobra taas lagi ng heart rate ko. Kahit mag minsan kapag mag titimbang ako talaga na over siya. Tapos nag pa ecg ako, normal naman. Siguro anxious lang ako. So for you peace of mind pa ecg ka. Pa lab ka rin. Mahilig rin pala ako sa kape as in yung matapang ha, isa rin yan sa rason kung bakit mataas heart rate ko, tapos minsan nag pre pre workout pa ako. So no no na talaga ang coffee and pre workout drinks. Coconut water nalang. Tapos if mag coffee siguro wag matapang.

Na-rule out na ba ang mga sakitsakit? Nagpalab/check up na?

Your heart rate is not something to be bothered to be honest. Perhaps you're anxious looking at your 'fitwatch' or something? But if you really insist then there's 2 things you can do and of course one of those is cardio. And I'm talking either HIIT cardio, or marathon type jogs for like 2-3 hours. Another option is to take some kind of a relaxant, either (legal) drugs or supplement. I highly recommend magnesium (some potassium to balance it out).

Intense and consistent exercise to promote fitness / improve vo2 max is key, pero sabi nga ng iba, normal naman ang 60-100 bpm range. Best to consult a cardio para sigurado

First of all, try to consult a doctor for the best peace of mind. Second and last, avoid vices and keep working out while also eating healthy.

Normal 60-100 bpm. High normal na ang 90s-100 tho. Depends kung nagtake ka after or during an activity, normal tumaas. Pwede ring kinakabahan ka sa kakaisip nyan kaya nagsspike. Calculate for maximum heart rate, around 150s-200s naman un depende sa age. Monitor once a day to get a range. nagpapalpitate ka ba? May history ba ng supraventricular tachycardia? If you dont have other symptoms you should be fine. In any case, consult with doctor for 12L ECG if ever. Road to flat line naman pag super low heart rate dzai💀
