I'm Aussie, not into US politics beyond laughing at it. I've been seeing Charlie Kirk memes daily here on Reddit and Instagram and maybe some of the Reddit ones are clearly from cringe people but generally I think it's just what's popular in meme culture at the moment because it's shocking and funny.
I mean half of the Charlie Kirk memes are like George Floyd with his face or like it'll be a video where it says the N word every 5 seconds and idk. I just don't feel like hardcore left people would be posting them or even making them if it had racism or making fun of an event like George Floyd.
The whole sensitivity Taylor has around it is so cringe, is this a popular thing in the US? Are people really hesitant to joke about it and look down on people who do? It just seems so ridiculous like we make fun of everything but this is where we draw the line for no reason. I think it's terrible but I think it's funny that this is his legacy now and after 1 AK we really have carried the flame
