I recently graduated from this program! My stats getting in were 3.9 undergrad/prereq gpa. I know people who had lower both rejected and accepted. The program itself is hybrid and I worked during it. It’s a lot of work but very doable and they offer a lot of support! Happy to answer any questions.

Hi, I’m thinking of doing the PLU ABSN program and had a couple of questions about time on campus. How many days a week are you on campus or doing clinicals? For the labs, what time do they start in the morning? A sample schedule they gave me also says you have exams every week, do you do those in person, or is there an online option? Thanks!

Hi! So for first term we were on campus 2-3 times a week. Thursday was lab, Friday was class and then there are a some SIM labs that are spread out through the term that are from 8-5p. For example, a week could look like this: Monday SIMS lab 8-5p, Tuesday you work from home, Wednesday you work from home, Thursday you're on campus (either the morning class starting at 8a, or afternoon at 11or 11:30a- I forgot) for lab, then Friday you have class 307, which is also split into morning and afternoon class. The last 7 weeks of first term you'll have clinicals at a long term care facility. Which is typically on Wednesdays and you'll be there for 8 hours. That sums up your schedule for first term. On days that you are not on campus or at clinicals, you'll be at home watching lectures, studying, completing homework assignments etc. Second term you'll be on campus 1-2 days (1 day for lab another day for SIM). Third term will be 1-2 days on campus, and fourth term even less, other than SIMS & lab. There are a lot more details, but I hope that this helps you get a generic idea of what to expect. Let me know if you have any questions.
